every person is like a world , there's so so so much to each one but sometimes , i think, we get afraid to take time to listen , other times we prejudge ,sometimes for fear to be judged by others (what will they think if i talk to this person?) and we remain in our comfort zone . but we are the ones missing out . every person is precious (just like you) and should be treated and seen that way , no matter what. i see many people complaining that nobody cares about them , that they have no friends but are we being friendly to everyone so we can make friends , givers in a relationship (all kinds) even when we won't get something back?

I agree.
Ever since I moved to The Netherlands, I tried making friends. But it hasn't been as easy always, and though I look at myself as a very including and making contacts easily with new people, I am thinking that making friends might most times happen more over time as well. If one can try being friendly with most people not always thinking whether they will become soon your friend or not, this way one will indeed win some more friends by just being a friend to them. Very good focuse. |

i mean we as Christians (with discernemnt) can be friendly (compassionate , ready to help, humble) to everybody bearing in mind that we already have the best friend we can ever have by our side, that is Jesus , Who will never fail us, leave us, Who loves us without pre conditions, so thus He enables us to be more open to others, to be givers in relationships , to be to others Who He is to us . that way i think we are more likely to end up building true and lasting friendships , without expect it

I mostly agree about that. Also more how I have began viewing at it lately. Being a true friend is a lot more than how many views their friends like today. Being a friend isn't meant as just jumping into any harming friendship in a naive state of mind. Just the fact of wanting to be kind and helpful to others, as well as looking at them with Christ's love in mind.
