Hello EveryOne... I am just curious about this site coz one of my good friends suggested me to visit this site. I dunno what to say Actually... and I feel shy... Anyway, I am Single, 28 yrs.old... never have had any BF since birth... coz I want first and last BF in my life and most important for me is a Real Born Again Christian Guy. I kept on Praying to our Lord God Almighty in Jesus name that someday He will give me the right guy for me... My Parents, Sister and Brothers are telling me that I am not getting any younger... and should find one to be with me as I grow old, and everytime they're reminding me... I feel pressured and nervous. There are guys who runs after me... but I dunno... for me they are just my brothers and not "someone" who will be with me...
Pls. don't think that I am a bad lady... I just tried my luck here... Maybe my "someone" is just right over here... Who Knows?...

No, I don't mean to dash your hopes. I developed a dry humor when I had to defend myself from guys bigger then me. My mouth was what saved me from many beatings. Along with many chances of confessions...

You know, I hope that you find your prince charming. I pray he dosen't turn out to be a *insert negative secular title* and uses you for the selfish and wrong purposes.

Well what to say? I do think there are some really REALLY nice guys on here..drool worthy too..but like..I don't think looking for the guy is the right way to go..especially online...Idk..maybe I'm just old fashioned..but I like the idea of just randomly meeting a guy one day..without really meaning to..and having him pursue me.. and as for what your family says..and all the pressure you feel to have someone.. stuff it! I get constantly asked by my family AND church members about why I don't have a boyfriend yet..why I'm not married??????????? seriously..it's none of their beeswax! I've never had a boyfriend before..just like you..I only want to be with one guy one day..not go through different boyfriends..bleh..and you know what..there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.... I have standards..I know what I want in a guy..and so far (except for one >_>) I have never really known any guy I'd actually want to marry..ball and chain..dun dun dun!!!!! I do want to get married..but I won't just accept any guy just because they're around me.. You said you've prayed to God about it before? so leave it in HIS hands..do not worry.. God will bring the right man along when the time is right..So don't just settle for any guy just so you can have someone..and so that your family will leave you alone about it.. there's nothing wrong with you still being single.. trust in God..

Yeah, ada, i've seen two posts by you now and neither were friendly at all.

IamKaren: Bear in mind this is not a singles site, so while, yes, there are singles on the site, and some who are looking, very few are likely to respond to something like this. And quite honestly, as a guy, its not a very appealing message. I for one, would never answer a post like that with any sort of interest. Just something for you to consider. I am in a agreement with Phia, don't force the issue, just wait it out.

If you need real born again christian, i and some others might be willing; but if what you are looking for is boyfriend, i think you are at a wrong place.

I have gone through this. I'm a 22 year old male and I was on a hot pursuit of a woman to be with. I'm not bad looking (a lot of people say I look identical to Tom cruise), I'm extremely smart and I have many qualities most women like in a guy. Yet I couldn't find a partner no matter how hard I tried. Then I finally said the heck with it and gave up. A month after I ended my search I met the woman of my life. We are now married, and have a beautiful daughter. I guess what I'm trying to say is don't go searching for your perfect man. Let him come to you. You will know when you meet him. And trust me there is no "perfect" man. Some might come close but every person has their flaws.

Thanks for the sincere sharing.:)

As they always say, it takes two hands to clap and hence, it takes two person (man and woman) to recognize and commit to a God-given relationship. My suggestion is to meet lots of guy friends who are committed to the Lord. And just because the guy asks you out for a meal or simply meet in the Mall does not constitute him your boyfriend. As long as both of you do not find yourselves in compromising situation, go ahead and get to know the person! Or go out in groups; go hiking together, play sports or dinner as a group.

And a guy has expectation too. So carry yourself well, groomed yourself well - it is one sign of your self-esteem too. Be confident and be a fun person. :)
