If you honestly believe God isn't gonna heal you, that it's His will you be sick, &you keep claiming it, then stop taking medicine. Tell God thank you, for the sickness. COME ON; it is not His will that you be sick. Satan comes to KILL, STEAL, & DESTROY!

Then why aren't people being cured? Surely, it doesn't fall squarely on the sick person.
If someone who believes and has faith, in God, that it isn't His will for people to be sick, should
be able to lay hands on a sick person, and heal them in Jesus name.

So you're saying it's his will? I haven't been sick in 2 years. We are not under the curse. &you're right, and people do lay hands on sick & they're healed!!! You just gotta align your heart with Gods. 90% of the time, we get sick bc of something we spoke over our life, etc. I don't live by what I see, or feel. ^^

Many reasons why, Trax, but the main reason is because people don't believe that it's God's will or that it isn't God's will 100% of the time.

hislastwalk, seeing this thread is very much so an encouragement. I am with you 100% on this. This brings to mind James 4:7. If God made someone sick, then they ought to submit to it.

Yep! Or we pray for healing, but keep claiming it the sickness.

I agree with this.

A person who speaks about themselves having a cold, being sick, or ill are often bound to that illness for longer periods of time.

Yet another person, who claims the healing, who does not proclaim their sickness to everyone they come across; will get over their illness much sooner.

We can either be blessed by the words we speak over ourselves, or cursed......the choice is ours.

AMEN! If get backpains, but I tell my spine to feel better in Jesus name, the pain leaves. My back doesn't tell me how to feel, I tell my back how to feel! :)

if God didn't want is to use medicine he wouldn't have given us the brains to invent it.

Yes, I knoww. &he hasn't had to take any medicine for his immune system. Hasn't had a sniffle or anything. If we have enough faith we won't need medicine.

God's will isn't for us to be sick, but if you think it is, then thank him for your sickness.

You carry on with that as your choice but it isn't right for you to try and make others follow it, i hope you will stay healthy but you are only 17, plenty of time yet.

My point wasn't to seek answers, but to stir all up to think. If this is God's will that no one be
sick, then there is the gift of healing and working miracles. Surely, someone of faith in this
concept would be healing others. I'm not refering to these faith healers on TV, that the people
who are healed, are things that could be faked.

No, the healer would have to clean out hospitals. If a person would be given such a ministry
or had such faith, then after about 10 people were healed, word would spread like wildfire.
After about 10,000 healed, CNN and other news agencies would be all over it. People would
flock to that person, from around the world, by the millions. It just isn't happening, yet people
have this belief that God doesn't want people to be sick.

But Paul had a thorn in the flesh and Epaphroditus was sick to the point he was close to death.
2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

So if we think God wants us to be sick, then taking medicine is blasphemy to Him. Being sick is not a cross to bear. Christ died so we can be HEALED.
