Thank you Lucas,Moll_y,Nate and carpetmanswife for you replys and prayers.(And everyone else who replied)
I was surprised so many people replied and all the advice you all gave.
I have been praying more often(It feels good,to be back in my old routine),I' also went to church with my grandmother
last weekend and ...well I won't say I had fun but it was nice knowing I was obeying God and being with my family.
I have thought a lot about all of the answers and advice you have given me,and I must say at first I thought you all
would judge me,but you haven't you all have been kind and understanding. Thank you, that is one of the reasons I have
been gettign back in the faith,Christians do seem to care,no matter what others say,and it made me think ''If they
are this kind and they are human think of how kind and loving God is. Plus I've read the Bible and I know Jesus died for our sins.

Thank You all and God Bless
P.S. I have strep throat so I probably won't get on for awhile :)

I think that you are going through what a lot of people have gone through while on their life journy with God. Doubt... it is there but can you over come it? I think God is testing you. Can you be strong to him when times get hard? Listen to your heart. God is there and He always has been. He is not mad at you. He loves you more than you can understand. Pray... pray until you get everything out. Sometimes when I have doubt I pray to Him, just like im having a convesationg with a friend, and I know he is listening to me. I can feel him because I know that He knows I really believe. If you feel alone and confused just remember that God doesnt give you something He knows you cant handle. I know you can over comes this because you are asking for help, which shows you really care and you really and truely love Him. Just be true to yourself and true to Him and you will start to hear him. I promise. I have only been a "true" christain for a year.. and it is the best thing that has ever happend to me. I believe in you.

I been praying a lot lately, and I think its helping. So do all of your replys.
I talked to my mom and although she doesn't understand it all she's been very loving and we have been getting along better than ever.
I also have learned that when we hit hard times, hiding beneath crystals and false gods isn't going to help anyone especially yourself.
Things might not be smooth sailing but if you have family and God the glass will look half full instead in half empty.
Thank You all :)

Seek the truth and you will find it. Seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit and you will receive power from God to manifest Jesus in you. A great online fellowship is at www.unleavenedbreadministries.org. Read, or listen to, the Sovereign God book. They will send you a book for free, or you can download it or download the audio version on mp3. God is coming in His people before He comes for His people.

So Great to see you are getting more better on with God again. And He Truly Loves You Courtney!
Satan might attack you a lot 'cause of going back to God, but you shouldn't worry nor be afraid,
because he has no more power over you anymore, and once you are back in Christ again, the grip of sin over you is now broken.
It doesn't means that we no longer sin, we do sin mostly everday because of our sinful nature, but we have got the Spirit within us.
And that means that we can more easily get lead by His Spirit, and through Christ we become Stronger too!

You will become a Very Strong person in Christ! I can sense this! And God Keep Blessing You!

Also I want to say you have a Lovely avatar picture too! Beautiful! Fits to your Forum name too!

I have a friend that is not a Christian. The other day he said that he does not believe in Jesus because there are all these innocent people suffering around the world. For example the millions of innocent children dying of starvation in Africa. He later said that he has the good life he has because he is a good person.

Wait...he just said that all these innocent people are suffering so there is no God but that because he is a good person he is rewarded. The statement contradicts itself.

Many people around the world suffer. I do not believe that God is punishing them. We have to be thankful for the things that we do have. I personally see suffering as a great opportunity to put your faith in the Lord. When I was in high school I suffered in a household with an alcoholic father and absent mother. The time when I most needed my parents they were not there, I never once doubted that the Lord loved me. I felt him there for me and .... it is very strange...I felt as if angels were around me encouraging me to keep on going. It was until I was in college that my father overcame his alcoholism despite the fact that mother and brother had given up on him. Our family has come back together and my parents after my husband are my biggest support and best friends.

If our lives are perfect, then we might not feel a need for God. I put faith in our Lord and it paid off greatly! Since then he has led me down some amazing paths that I could have never even dreamed of. I even met my husband, a wonderful man, and am now living in the Middle East. The good Lord really is putting me to work. I have to work hard every second of the day to serve the Lord and every minute of it is great!

Two days ago a poor Muslim family that we had helped out invited us to lunch at their home. Here it is rude to not go so we went despite our busy schedules. The family is a young couple in their 20's. They have one son and another baby on the way. They live in a one room house about ten feet by ten feet. The futon is their bed and couch. They have a coffee table that they eat from. And no air conditioning. It gets much hotter here than TX. The husband lost his job this week and the Lord only knows what will happen to them. Living in this part of the world really gives you a different perspective on our situation back at home.

You must keep faith in Jesus and ask our Father in Heaven for strength to get through this trying situation. I am confident that if you put your faith in the Lord that you will be taken down a path that you could have never even dreamed of. I still have struggles in my life, but could not be happier. I have a loving husband that is also very handsome...just a plus. Many couples here do not have the Lord in their heart and they never seemed satisfied. No material item is enough. Their spouse is not enough. We have been blessed is so many ways that even though my husband has been blessed after years of hard work with a comfortable salary, it does not really matter any more. Nothing matters if you are not walking with the Lord. Keep praying for strength and guidance. It is very difficult at your age because there is so much pressure from other youths. As you get older, you will have more strength and you will find that many of them might leave Wicca.

I am sure that the Lord has great things planned for you!

One more thing...

I told you the story about the poor Muslim family in the previous post. Here in the Middle East a son is a blessing because he can help out the family financially.

A daughter however is a blessing because she is gentle with her parents and gives them the unconditional love they need. Our parents sometimes are overwhelmed with financial and other responsibilities that they get stressed out. I found that my mom liked talking about her problems with me as she got older. I listened. Even though I wish sometimes she listened to me more, I have found that I am a stress relief for her. She sees me now as her best girl friend.

About the Muslim family, they struggle so much and have so many things to worry about. Their 2 year old son is so well behaved. After spending so much time with families, I have found that the families that are suffering the most really are blessed with loving children. I can tell from your posts that you have a very gentle heart.

Perhaps you are the blessing for your family in these difficult times.

As far as the Wicca goes, many young people are curious and get off the path. Also, many people these days make fun of Christians. I went through a phase when I doubted too. No matter how much I questioned things my heart kept bringing me back to the Lord. I really tried to justify other people's arguments against Jesus. Jesus keeps winning over my heart. He is there knocking at the door. The Lord is a Shepard and will not lose one sheep. Our Father is a very loving father. With the price Jesus paid we can put our sins aside and not let shame interfere with us living our lives for Christ. I have committed horrible sins and felt very ashamed of them. Now I am confident that Jesus' blood has washed them away.

Put your faith in the Lord and he will guide you!

Hi,

The truth is what you're experiencing is spiritual warfare. Once a person gives their life to Jesus Christ, the battle for your soul begins. Satan hates mankind because unlike us, he will never get a second chance to enter the Kingdom of God. Misery needs company. I went through that when I decided to give my life back to Jesus, it was the hardest 4months of my life, I felt like giving up, that's what satan wants us to do, but stick with Jesus, He hears our cries, and sees our tears, He cares. If you read the book of Job, remember he suffered because satan wanted to break him down to the point where he would curse God, but Job never did. He praised, worshipped, cried, questioned God, in the end Job was rewarded for his Faith in God. Everything we go through in life prepares us to minister to others in the future, because we have experienced what the other person is going through. May I suggest that you go on a fast? There are different types of fasts, all water, partial (part of the day), Daniel fast: Fruits, vegetables, water for a number of days. It's hard but God is who gives us strength. If you go to family Christian store or any book store and find a book on fasting and prayer (christian) it will help and encourage you when you hear others stories. Or you can just google prayer and fasting testimonies. I hope I helped, I will pray for you.

I am glad that the book of Job was mentioned. This is such a wonderful story that you should read if you have not. God loves us all. There are greater things to come!
