Umm did a demon invade my body?

Ok im offended I jus found out that crossing ur fingers is suppose to ward off evil r to gain power. Well today I was in a store nd this old couple cross theyre fingerz and act as if they were afraid of me. If iam evil how does the world know and I dnt notice. I thought born again means ur dne with evil well it gt worse oh m my. I think I shouldve stayed away from religion bcuz its destroying me n opening doors for demons I nvr had this weird problems. Help

No relgion is the only thing that can save you and also odds are those people were crazy. humans can't tell if there are demons in you except a smal and i mean very small few of priests. Also they could be evil themselves, people can fool themselves into thinking they are close to god when they are actually slowly being warped to be more like the devil which is why they would be afraid of you because what they think is the devil is actually god

I soo love ur response u r right on the nose y did I not think of that. That's true because I would see a person who is truly evil and ppl would think tht person is innocent

You took the words right out of my mouth, about a couple years ago my brother started going to church and trying to live righteous, one day he falls asleep listening to a preacher on TV,wakes up paralized, and his blankets get snatched away from him. I remember that incident like if was yesterday. That was two years ago, right now if you talk about God to him, he will get offended and change the subject. The devil will try to snatch away your faith, he will attack you and attack because you are a threat when you believe in Christ.

Be anxious for nothing, if God feeds the fowls of the air how is he not going to take care of you, dont worry about tomorrow, tomorrow has its own problems. Youll be alright, Next time somebody starts giving you a bad attitude tell them, "Jesus Loves you, and I Love you too"

I doubt that a demon invaded you. And the crossing fingers wards off evil thing is superstition, which the bible Condemms(it won't work...at all)

yes the devil is the king of deception and lies, and he would love it if he used your faith against you. But I am so glad you realized the truth:D

Don't give it a second thought. I'm sure ur not evil, old people do some strange things.maybe an earring or something u were wearing offended them lol. And don't stay away from religion, (as long as it is christianity) stay as close as u can to God. Relax..... :)

Crossing fingers doesn't keep evil away. The presence of God in you that you got when you accepted Christ does that. Even people who do deliverances can't tell when someone has a demon for sure. Those old people were just scared. Who knows why, and it's not your job to care. For all you know, it's because of Jesus in you. (They put Him on a cross, remember? What might they do to us who follow Him?) The worst thing that might happen to you is that you might get serious about doubting that you should still follow Jesus because of what they did. Again, it's their problem, not yours. Close the door by making sure your choice for Jesus is permanent.

Sprinkles, how long have you been a Christian? No offense meant, but you seem somewhat ignorant of the bible and spiritual understanding and you seem to operation on an idea of pagan superstition rather than having a strong biblical understanding.
Crossing your fingers to 'ward off' evil spirits has no bible basis. It sounds like pure non-Christian superstition. Along with walking under ladders, breaking mirrors, black cats, etc... all of that is fake and founded in secular pagan mentality, not on the bible.
Same with 'bumping into people' and getting a demonic plague. There is no biblical foundation for that idea. You can touch a person that is possessed and still not be affected.
You seem to be putting a lot of paranoid emphasis on demons, and much of it is not even biblical. You have this non-Christian understanding of the spiritual battle taking place. I think you need to spend more time in your bible, because sadly, you seem to have no biblical foundation in your beliefs. I don't mean that as an insult or attack, its my honest assessment based off of what you have written.

First I would like to say, I really think you're overreacting here.

Okay, just because a few elderly people did this does not mean your possessed. They may have done that because they're old fashioned and something about you, that is normal in today's society, scared them.
You can not let things like that make such a big impression on you. That's just like if I were walking in a store and an old couple started talking to me as if I were a dog. Just because they did that is not going to make me second-guess whether I'm human or not. You have to be strong and unwavering in your faith and KNOW that God will protect you always. That really scares me that they were able to sway you so easily and send you into a panic like that.

Don't jump to such an extreme until you have ruled out every other possibility first.

Besides, you would know inside of yourself if there is something wrong, or if you're possessed. Believe me, if a demon was living inside of you, it's going to make its presence known. That's the first thing that should have tipped you off. "These people are acting as if I'm possessed, yet I do not feel an evil spirit inside of me. That must mean THEY'RE WRONG."

Being born again does not mean you're done with evil, if anything more evil comes for you because you have dedicated your life to the ultimate good, which is God. You are putting yourself more at danger to have encounters with demons or things relating to that if you you fall away from God or decide you don't believe in him anymore. Don't let the devil confused you, making you think running away from God is the answer.

That's just like if were in a life threatening situation, am I going to run to the enemy, or the hero?

Think about it. The answer is simple.

I don't have a problem with honesty. When did I say that?

I think we should respect all people's questions as equally important.
(Telling someone they are ignorant doesn't improve anything. It just makes the person telling them look intolerant.) Not to mention it discourages people from asking questions.
I think questions should be encouraged. Not shamed away like some annoying burden.

I have alot of knowledge about demons nd the spiritual war but ive been a christian for yrs Ive jus barely read the bible but I have lots of. N I heard tht if you have sex with a guy who wants something from you the demon insde him will possessed you also ppl know ive been affected by evil spirits but they chose nt to help. I alsohear ppl say to me burn in hell and this girl who hates me is a witCh n she is tryn to damned my soul im nt sure what I have done to these ppl but ive been gtn alot of hatred from strangers n I kno its satan for sure. I may have open a door I need christan support nd counseling

Sprinkles24, that thing about having sex with a guy who wants something from you, the demon inside will be possess them, that is true and is a dangerous kind of superstition or something else. If you read the Bible whenever one is possessed by a demon it never happens that way. As for the other things, the Bible says we will be persecuted for our faith in many forms by people, Satan, and demons. We need to be strong and courageous and let God guide us and ask questions about these things from believers, which you are doing. God bless you and keep holding the standard of Jesus as your banner.
