Abortion is wrong, in my opinion. Those are some real hot button topics, when you start talking in cases of rape and different things.

As far as birth control, I think it's okay to use once you're married and don't want anymore children. That's just me though.

I think abortion is wrong. i don't think it should be outlawed only because i feel like thats TOO much power in the government's hands but I think women should choose not to abort their healthy children.

as for birthcontrol. i don't like the day after pill cause that killing a baby thats just started. if it keeps the sperm from meeting the egg then thats fine to me. especially for married people who don't want to have kids. other wise you should consder abstinance. ^_^

i know in case of rape and incest people don't want to keep it and i think more people should adopt. you can't just say well you were raped but you stil HAVE to have that baby and HAVE to take car of it. thats just wrong. I'm going to adopt my first child and i think more people should look into adoption if they feel that abortion is wrong. I'm sure their are a number of mothers out there who wouldn't abort their children if they knew some family was waiting to take them home.

I don't feel particularly emotional about abortion. But from a logical point of view, I lean toward it's wrong...with maybe a few exceptions (if the mother's life is in danger or her child will be born very sick and incomplete, or she was impregnated against her will....) Aside from that, it's not right, because the adults involved should have been more responsible in the first place. Which leads me to my next answer.

Birth control is more than okay (my opinion). Not everyone who is married wants children. Perhaps in old time periods it was important to have lots and lots of kids, because life was harsher back then and not all people survived to adulthood and even fewer to old age. But in this day and age, with all the advancement in medicine and health awareness, the world is rapidly becoming more and more overcrowded.

Also some people live in poverty, or may have had a hard childhood, or a hereditary mental disorder, or have had abusive parents, or other hard time in life, and they don't want to subject their own kid to the possibility that they may have to live through the same pain.

I personally see no reason for married couples to starve themselves of a sex life just because they don't want to make kids.

in my opinion, abortion generally is not only wrong BUT a SIN. God;s 10 commandment tell us that we should not kill. But if due to the reason of wellness to the mother and rape, i really don't know...can't find them in the bible. i guess that have to use God given conscious to guide us.

birth control ONLY if you already have many babies and due to financial reasons, you do it.

I believe abortion is wrong, but I have great compassion for women who truly feel they have no other choice.

I am on the fence about birth control. My personal conviction is that I will not use it for prevent pregnancy. It doesn't even work for me. I got pregnant twice on it and I took it religiously. I don't want to risk my method of birth control becoming the death of even my unintentionally conceived child.

i think abortion is wroung even in cases of rape or incest because their is no need to make a child that GOD has created suffer and pay because of the actions of one person. if the person does not want the child because of rape then put the child up for adotion someone will love the child.
as far as birth control- i am agaenst the morning after pill cause it is a form of abortion but others that don't termonate anything is fine and up to the person and a person should wait to marrage.
GOD created life and we have no right to decide weather or not the child lives or dies.

the morning after pill does not kill a baby, there are two kinds, the kind legal in the US is emergency contraception, if an egg is already fertilized it has no effect on it, in other words if you already got pregnant you are still pregnant, but it can stop you from getting pregnant in the first place

the morning after pill simply stops the body from releasing an egg, if the egg is fertilized already the pregnancy continues , it's NOT an abortion pill, this could help a lot of young girls who make mistakes, but many people misunderstand what it is and how it works, thinking it causes an abortion

I think it varies from person to person, it's quite a personal decision. I am pro choice, I do not *like* abortion but that doesn't mean I want to choose what another woman should do with her body.

Birth control is a good thing, not everyone is ready for a child, even married couples.

as stated before the morning after pill is not an abortion pill if you are pregnant it's not going to help you.

About the morning after pill.... taken directly from the Plan B One-Step website.....

What it is

Plan B One-Step® is your backup plan—emergency contraception in just one pill. The sooner you take it, the better it works. When taken as directed—within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure—approximately 7 out of 8 women who would have gotten pregnant will not become pregnant after taking Plan B One-Step®.
Plan B One-Step® is generally safe and effective, and is FDA-approved. It uses the same ingredient found in many birth control pills, levonorgestrel, to help prevent pregnancy from happening.
What it isn't

Plan B One-Step® is not RU-486 (the abortion pill)—it won't work if you're already pregnant, and it should not affect or terminate an existing pregnancy.
Plan B One-Step® is a backup method of preventing pregnancy, but it isn’t regular birth control and should not be used that way. It’s not as effective as other methods of birth control used consistently and correctly, so it’s important to have another reliable source of birth control that’s right for you. It won't protect you from HIV infection (the virus that causes AIDS) or any other sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

As for the original question....

I believe in personal decision and the right for everyone to have freedom of choice... But, I, personally do not condone abortion, nor have I or will I have one myself.... But I also do not and will not condemn those who have had abortions as it is not my place. I feel that Christ has not put me here to condemn sinners (besides, we are all sinners) but to show compassion and Christ's love as he did while he was here on Earth.

I have no qualms with birth control. God does not place the calling of raising children on everyone, and I feel like if He really wanted someone to have a child, He would bless them with a child regardless if they were using birth control or not.

From personal experience, I chose to have my tubes tied after my 2nd child... Although she was my second child (I have a 3 year old boy, and a 3 week old girl), she was my 4th pregnancy. I have had many complications with all pregnancies, becoming very ill with both of my full term pregnancies, this last one almost killed me (High blood pressure, pre-eclampsia, Gastritis, Upper GI bleed, and severe anemia are just a few things that were caused due to my pregnancies).... My husband and I earnestly prayed through the whole pregnancy and took into great consideration all of our options for birth control... Neither of us felt convicted by our decision and proceeded with the tubal ligation.

This is not quite accurate.
They do not prevent an ovum from being released, nor do they prevent conception in all cases.
Rather, they prevent implantation . (the fertilized egg, aka life, cannot be implanted in the uterus.)

I, for one, feel God has formed a life once fertilization has happened.
Perhaps not all do, but I do...I mean, where will Christians decide to draw that line? :)
For me, I had to make it there.

Here's my source, and it isn't Planned Parenthood. :)

What about condoms? eggs aren't fertilized and no babies start forming if sperms not in there.
