Ok, one of the things that God treasures is the human body. He is very strict about the guidelines for it. My question is, is it wrong to watch horror movies in "YOUR" opinion. I like watching CSI do you believe that thats the same as horror movies? Let me know.

Just throw away the TV! There's immorality, violence etc. no matter what you watch these days unless you have good christian programming which is basically all we watch now.

i personally do not see CSI as a horror movie..the exorcism of emily rose to me is a horror movie.
i do not think it is a sin to watch horror movies unless you get to the point where u reallyy scared, i think. i mean some people can watch those things without being scared.but u know what god does not want us to be fearful of anything,he didnt give us a spirit of fear but a spirit of peace and comfort..soo if it causes you to be scared i'd say it is best not to watch it..and also if u dont know if someting is right or wrong and you go ahead and do it anyway it is sin,the best thing is not do it at all if you are not sure.

the thing about horror is that it isnt so much scary as it is suprising most of the time

I guess it depends of your state of min while watching it, if you watch the news and see people being killed without feeling bad for them I guess thats just as bad as watching people getting killed in a horror movie, even though those are two totally different things.

..not many good TV- programs nowdays anyways, so my TV has almost become a unpractical shelf :p

I dont like scary movies but as far as tv shows, im not going to stop watching them because they are not Bible approved. I mean when i watch a show i am old enough and mature enough to know that sin is wrong. So i feel if you are able to know the differnce between real and fiction then it is a personal choice.

I think if you watch those types of movies and shows and you either like what is happening or do not feel at least a pang of empathy or sympathy that it is immoral and you are on that boundary of sin. I feel that it's good for Christians to at least know about the violent things going on in the world. It makes at least me want to become closer to God not only for me being somewhat frightened of things happening today, but for others souls as well. I know I pray for my enemies, I pray for those in the taliban, or in any other terrorist group. Obviously not to do well, but to see the error of their ways and turn to the lord.
