My lesson from today comes from Pastor Jeremy Johnson from North Point Church...

How do you drive when a cop is behind you? Most people don't speed, they wouldn't dare check their phone, they make sure to use every turn signal, and their road rage is suddenly gone. It's the same way when a child is in sight of their parent, in court in front of the judge, or any other place where you are being closely watched by someone of authority... so, as Christians, we all know that Jesus lives in our heart and is watching over us at all times. Why do we still lie, cheat, lust, or any other sin? Don't we realize that our Creator is always watching? He is omni-present. We need to realize this, and think about it before we sin. I think this thought process could help a lot of people struggling with sin. I know it has helped me a lot.

So that's my lesson from today. whats yours?

What I learned today is that no matter how bad things are they can always get worse... lol.

Which reminds me of what an old man once told me. He said, "you know you've finally reached bottom when you stop digging."

I've been learning that for a while as well. The important thing for me is to keep a positive mental attitude. God has an amazing plan for all of us and I have faith that He will get me out of any hard times I am facing at the moment. Which reminds me of a poem called Footprints.
