To leave behind a legacy that will improve the condition of this world, whether it be through my music, writing, generosity, life, etc.

My biggest dreams in life, so far, have been granted... I found my soul-mate, and married him. We have two beautiful children together.

My goals from here out...

To raise my children - in a household that serves the LORD; to be a hardworking, honest man and woman of God.

To work everyday on becoming/being the woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend that God calls me to be.

To make and keep my house as welcoming, comfortable, and homely as possible for my husband, our children, and guests.

Eventually, I would like to have a chance to take "my wants" off the back-burner for just a little bit, and maybe have a space all my own where I can work on my arts/ crafts. Somewhere that I can keep all my crochet supplies and projects, paintings and drawings, and all my photography supplies, maybe have a small studio set-up. Maybe that's a little self-serving of me, but I believe that everyone needs a place or something to go to, by themselves for a bit to de-clutter their minds and refresh themselves to better serve others.

Stuey, I believe CA stands for Canada. As for the goals and dreams I will let God direct my paths because right now I don't know if I want to be an archaeologist or not. I start to wonder if I should just pursue it as a hobby or something else. Oh well, I know has a plan and that will help me sort out my life.

Goals and Dreams. Hmm, well, I'd definitely like to finish school and get my Bachelor's Degree, maybe Master's... who knows. I'd like to either open my own Business or get a good job and save for the future. I also want to be a great wife & mother one day... ultimately, I want to be the woman that God wants me to be.

What are your biggest goals and dreams?
Reading the OP and then the responses, I just wanted to encourage you all...you are young, you have your lives ahead, full or promise, opportunities and hope. And, you ought to be dreaming and dreaming big!! :) All things are possible...i got my first degree at 40 (yes...my first, I got my Masters 4 years ago and am waiting to hear if I have been accepted for my PHd....so exciting!!) I thought in my 20's I had my dream job, i was a midwife & loved it, but then in my late 30's I went down a different road and now i have THE best job. So, i suppose what I am saying is...it is never too late to follow your dreams, life is for living until we are called home. Life Long learning enriches. So I pray for you all :) wherever you are at, that you will find your passion and God will then open the doors, give you the opportunity to have the life you seek. He knows the desires of your hearts and He loves you SO much. How could life be anything less than exciting? God Bless you. <><

You are such an inspiration.
That is very kind indeed, thank you :) God is all that is good in me...I know that all the glory for anything i get right goes to Him and I truly know it and say it when ever I get the opportunity. My non- christian friends laugh at me, but not unkindly....''How did Allene stop biting her nails? Jesus!!'' I am fortunate that life for me, despite what has unfolded, has always been 'the glass half full'. God has prepared me and led me to work with those who are not so fortunate and who struggle with mental health issues. I have found it so rewarding and becoming a Christian 13 years ago was the proverbial icing on the cake!! :) <><
