How has your life changed since you entered adulthood?

Was there a defining moment in becoming an adult?

Is being an adult what you imagined it would be as a child? Why or why not?

Name one privilege of being an adult that you overrated as a child.

I have to pay my bills. I have to work. I would rather stay home ->and play with my dolls.

I enjoy the independence! Working isn't as fun as I hoped it would be when I was a kid- I wanted to be a cop.lol Having a job where people count on you so much was the most difficult thing for me to learn.
Work hard. Nap hard.

i don't feel like i have yet

moving to another state for college FELT like an adult transition. i live with my parents again.
Is being an adult what you imagined it would be as a child? Why or why not?
i never imagined adulthood as a child. i have always been in denial of it's existence and am very much separated from that notion in my heart. i will likely feel like an adult when i wed or have kids. if that ever happens. lol.

i can purchase things that as a child i never could that say 'must be 18 or older to order' i can make decisions about things i think are valuable to own and own them. yay.

lol. this is probably not the answer you were hoping for. i just answered it anyway :D love me!

My life has not changed tremendously since then. I have bills to pay, I can buy things that I wouldn't have been able to as a minor. I have more privileges but with that comes more responsibility.

Was there a defining moment in becoming an adult?
Not really, I remember I bought a lottery ticket on my birthday and won some money.

Is being an adult what you imagined it would be as a child? Why or why not?
Being an adult is pretty much what I expected it would be, however I am not where I thought I'd be as an adult. I thought back then, that by this age I would have my own place, a career, and be engaged or at least in a relationship.

Name one privilege of being an adult that you overrated as a child.

I overrated the privilege of buying and consuming alcohol and being allowed in bars and other establishments.

Hmmm... Yes and no. When you're a child forced to be an adult, you still do it a childlike way. I have had to function as an adult as far back as I can remember. In many ways not much has changed. I have learned better self-care. I have learned to treat myself
My defining moment came when I told my mom I was moving 500 miles away to go to school.
Being an adult is much more stressful than I ever imagined it.
I enjoy the freedom to be me.

my defining moment of being an adult...when i found myself getting excited over sweet deals at the stores for various household necessities...it was very sad

I don't know if I'm an adult, but I feel more independent now, even though I live with my parents. I don't have to ask them for every decision I make, and I take responsibility for my mistakes. I know that if I mess up, I will be the one cleaning up my mess instead of going to daddy to fix it.

Was there a defining moment in becoming an adult? It was more like a process....I think it started at around age 17 and now I'm just defining myself everyday. Being born again also opened my eyes to a lot of things. The day God entered into my life was a very defining moment.

Is being an adult what you imagined it would be as a child? Why or why not? No...not at all. First off, I never thought I would leave Mexico. I didn't think I would be Christian by now. And I thought I would be going to college and have a boyfriend by now. Everything is completely different from what I thought I would be doing today.

Name one privilege of being an adult that you overrated as a child. I can't think of one right now.....to be honest I always wanted to be an adult. I always wanted to be independent.
