So I just wanted to suggest this idea, I think it's cool

People have done it and posted videos on youtube of their wedding days of sharing their first kiss.

I know a guy whos doing it as a defense against lust and staying pure and as a gift for his wife.

I figured hey its a great idea to share, if you don't know about it already.


So what do you people think? :)

If first kisses only happened on wedding days, I would have been married a dozen times by now. Yikes!!! It's a good thing I never signed any prenuptial agreements before those kisses!!! - lol.

The idea is sweet!, but I am afraid the temptation (if I was with a boy I liked) would be just too much for me!.

but then you would miss the first kiss of little kids and their first crush, they are so cute at that age

I wouldn't want my little children kissing or having 'first crushes' at that age. My mother always pushed me into things like that at a really young age and i hated it. I think its part of the twisted American culture to push children into adult behaviors in the name of it being 'cute'.

Also too late for me, lol. Having said this, I think the older I get the more I see the wisdom in this, not as a legalistic thing, but more of a... what are your motives for kissing someone? Could be different for girls but I think guys are generally just feeding lust. (Yes we will say that it is because we want to show her how we feel, and this may be true to some extent... dunno)

Maybe after engagement, providing it is a short engagement. Maybe. lol

If I was to marry. The first. Person I kiss I would be calling. My mom. And telling her pack up your bags were going to Vegas. Haha

Yeah I also think there's wisdom in it and prudent and very nice too. :)

Also, even if it's too late, you'd still benefit from a great defense against lust... not that kissing is the only way to avoid lust and sexual immorality.

I think saving sex for marriage is a good idea, but kissing. Thats going a bit too far. How will you even know you actually love each other? What if you get married and then on your wedding day you realize youre not attracted to your spouse. Thats pretty bad. Think about it.

But they will probably chastise you by saying 'who are you to criticize us, it's a personal choice and just a sweet thing to do.' Just read the whole thread and you'll know what i mean. :D
