I almost feel like I'm doubting my relationship with God, or even my belief. It's really scaring me. I keep thinking about "what if MY God isn't the right one?" It's an absolutely horrible feeling and I'm terrified. I have never ever had these thoughts before. I have lost my drive and desire as well. What's going on? How can I change this? even when I pray, it doesn't seem genuine. Please help.

There's an old saying, "if you own a bird, set it free to fly away. If it doesn't come back, it was never really yours". God loves you enough to trust you with this. It's just a normal part of growing older in Him. He really is bigger than any doubt you can ever have; let Him show it.

My advice?
Find some good worship music that you haven't heard before.
Keith Green is good.
Find a site that streams music for free and punch in 'Keith Green'. - (www.grooveshark.com is free)
Choose any of the songs and worship.
You are growing in grace. - (Don't worry)
God is still on His throne, and you are learning faith. - (In other words, 'when you don't feel like it')
Faith is not feelings, God will let you be without those special feelings for a while to show you that you are
just a person,......and He is still ALL God.
It will be O.K.
You just need a to 'prime the pump', so to speak with worship.
A Spirit filled church will do this also.
Visit a Spirit filled church.

Ask Jesus to fill you with the full indwelling power of the Holy Spirit :). Then ask Him to prove Himself to you; tell Him that you want to know for sure instead of just doing what you'd heard was right/true. After this, it matters that you tell others about Jesus and that they can be saved through His blood as well; it makes a huge difference. The ones who witness the most generally have the most assurance in their faith, but ask the Lord the other things I mentioned first; it'll make witnessing easier :).

Books – which may help:
John of the Cross – ‘night of the soul’
Warren Rick - ‘Purpose Driven Life’
Asking yourself question:
- I’m believing in God for my benefit (nice feeling, answer for my pray) or to get closer to him by learning to put all trust in him – but on his condition – and that can be anything – including what you are going through. Writing down that you agree to trust him even if you never will feel his presence – in that way – you will know – that he is – no matter if you feel or not feel him – and that will be enough. The true Christian believes despite any prise or joy or peace from God – he believe because he loves God and God himself is enough for him.
20 min morning contemplation or meditation always helps to feel closer to God.
Write a letter each night and tell about your feelings – he is waiting for you to talk and express your feelings.

Farrah,
Any Christian who's been a Christian for any time has had these same concerns or similar ones. I've been a Christian for 14 yrs and I still have them from time to time. But the older over gotten, the more I've realized that God is faithful to us in those times. He always has an answer though its really hard to sit in the anxiety sometimes.

all these bad thoughts are from the devil, you need to run to GOD in prayer and his word and cling to GOD
