okay.. ~can't believe i'm doing this~
Okay first, I'm very glad i joined this forum and I'm very optimistic that my aim would be accomplished. In about 48hours we'll be ushering in another new year(2013). And I have some resolution already outlined for the coming year. But I want to put up one of my resolution here because I've been battling with it since when i was 18. It is MASTURBATION. I've cried, prayed, hit myself in some case,s to just stop this ungodly act. Every other aspect of my christian life seems okay but this as been my nightmare. I really love God and I really believe in Christ's saving grace, that's why I'm not throwing in the towel that easily.
I'm posting this to accomplish just one thing, and that's to STOP masturbation for only the year 2013. I believe if I can do this, 2014 and other subsequent years won't be a problem. And I want to do this with you people's help.I don't think I've told anyone about this issue before. So here is the deal..
I want to take this page as a registry where I'll come in and tell you how well I'm doing and possibly write a poem as regard how that day went or just quote a scripture that stroke the chords of mine heart for that day. I also pray you guys should help me by giving me your daily support and prayer and motivational quotes from the bible, in fact anyway you feel you can help me.
I promise no matter what happens I will tell you my outcome. Signing the registry(AKA making a post) maybe done daily or weekly as the case maybe but I'll endeavor to post as often as possible.
If you are also in this dilemma, please feel free to use this registry(this page) as well.. And by God's grace we shall overcome.

P.S I'm not making this thread to argue whether masturbation is a sin or not. In summary, I hate the very act and all i want is to get rid of it, by God's grace. God bless.
