That's always grand: wanting a book but not having the money for it. I just love when that happens...

lucky indeed. Mine has mostly old books, and a rather dinky selection of Christian authors.

Thr3e was horrible as a movie... I loved the book so I talked my friend into seeing it with me. At the end he turned to me and held out a hand and said, "I want my eight bucks."

And it's a pretty universal feeling on that movie... Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 6%... Check it out here

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/thr3e/

That means out all the reviews it averaged together, a total of 36, only 6%(or 2 of them) were positive. It also gave the average rating as 3.2 out of 10...

Of course I just looked at the rating on House and it got 0% when its reviews were averaged together and a score of 2.7 out of 10... That's out of 11 reviews... Can't really comment on the accuracy of it though because I never saw that one... And 11 reviews isn't really a lot to get an average rating on...

Huh, I actually watched Thr3e the movie and liked it.. it was one of those that youd have to watch a second time to notice major detail, at least for me, but my fiancee bought the movie and we both liked it.

Now as far as books i do like Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti.. 2 older books that peretti wrote that i read as a teen and loved was Piercing the Darkness and the one that goes with that one i cant remember the name now.
I read House it was good
I read Monster it was ok

I personally enjoy Christian Fiction inspirational romances. Love inspired series' are good if u like those.

they are all older but the Left Behind Series from Tim Lahaye and Jerry B Jenkins were very good, i enjoyed those in my teen years.

soo yeah.....

I've read a few of Francine Rivers books.. they are very good! The Last Sin Eater, I've had a lot of negative feedback on it, but I liked it :D She also wrote the Mark of the Lion series... EXCELLENT books! They are historical fiction with a little bit of everything else mixed in.
Frank Peretti is good too. The Prophet was a bit long and drawn out, and I found that I had to really make myself read it at first. But once you get into it, its good. This Present Darkness was the best one of his though, I think.

I'd recomend The Left Behind Series. I haven't read the adult series yet, but I will soon. I'm still working on the kids series, though I can't get any more of the books at my library... Still, it's an awesome series. Both of my parents have read it and loved them.
