matthew5:16 " Let your light so shine before men that they may see your [z]moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and]recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven."

Check out this awesome video that discusses the importance of shining our lights to those in darkness! I think it brings up a good point! Our light was meant to be shared to those searching for God. If we are just letting our light shine to only those in the light to, well that has the same effect as turning on a light bulb in an already bright room (versus letting it eluminate a dark room). Please feel free to share your comments below! God Bless!

I get the concept, but we all have different roles. I, for one, have never been strong at witnessing, but i am good at helping Christians going through hard times. I may not be a shining light to those LIVING in darkness, but i do try to be a shining light to those who are living in the light but going through a dark period where they may have trouble seeing, or being a light.

I'm the type to get blown out with I'm surrounded by darkness. >_< So i tend to not spend too much time in the darkness. I've learned better. (but my pastor and youth leaders are like tanks! nothing can stop them!)
