I am 17 years young and currently in my second semester of my freshman year of college. I have incredibly extreme stressors in my life right now that are causing a tremendous amount of heartache and confusion.
I want to strengthen my relationship with God and I know that this is a slow and steady process. But I can't do it alone, and I need any kind of advice from anyone out there who is reading this. What do I do? What is the first stepping stone I should use? Where do I go from here? What is YOUR story of being saved? What is YOUR experience with God?
HELP PLEASE :)

Hey, welcome to cc. Ummm my best advice (1)developing a continual habit of reading your bible daily (the more you read the more God will speak to you through his word) (2) Prayer and Fasting are two great tools that go hand and hand ( Prayer is a way of communicating with God and releasing all your burdens, worries, and fear to him; while fasting on the other hand is a of detoxing the body and mind and bringing your flesh under subjection so you can better hear from God). (3) Find a good fellowship to be apart of ( having strong christians that can pray for you and encourage you is very important)...There's is a site called precious testimonies where you can read peoples testimonies I think you be inspired by some of the stories on there. Well i hoped any of this helped God Bless :)

I understand it's not easy being your age. I'm know a lot of adults forget what it's like being a teenager. I am happy to see that even in this busy period you can hear Him calling you closer. I'm fairly busy too. When I do get time to read the Bible, I mostly fall asleep. Instead I downloaded a "talking" Bible. I can be in the Word while driving instead of listening to the radio, or while doing housework, shopping, or going to bed. I found it keeps me in the scriptures at the same time drowning out the world. Good luck with your studies. May I ask what you are taking?

Can you trust Him to take care of all the problems that are stressing you out?

College is a new environment with new challenges so it's very normal for you to feel stressed. Finding an on-campus ministry can be a real benefit to you...you make friends who are struggling with the same things.

Be patient, eat right, get enough sleep, exercise, and mostly seek the Spirit's guidance :)

I understand your situation. I'm glad you are trying to get closer to God. However, it is God that inspires our heart to bring us closer to him. You should pray to God and He will do the rest. We cannot do anything on our own, He will lead us in the right patch to draw us closer to him.

1) only GOD has the solution for all your problem.
2) Handing them over and letting go of any heartache, pain etc would awesome
3) Read the Word of GOD a lot, Pray a lot
4) do not waste time on worldy things really, relax your nerves under GODS presence ..
how do you do that? Gods presence can be felt even in your room
a testimony i have this just yesterday and the day before. hallelujah, my room had HIM all over it.
i spoke in tongues for over 30 minutes and ooowwiii HE releases all the stress.. everything. you just dont want to get out of that room
5) ask the Lord to renew The Joy of Salvation in you...
