1) Environment, History, Friends, Dont matter. Only GOD does the bringing together. Its not a concept of impatience, how other marriages turned up, or if he is cute or she is beautiful, considering such outside feautures can or are present in many men/women. I believe GOD has the final say. Usually many men and women potray lust and not love, and some can lie on their Relationship with God to get you into bondage. Dont rush into this, dilligently Seek God on the matter or bare the pain of divorce or not experience the Joys God has planned for those in it.
2) Financial security- God can say otherwise

It's not black and white. God could bring together the most unlikely couple... But He also gave us common sense. It's still not smart to go looking for someone while ignoring the things you listed above because "God does the bringing together."

If I could consistently see that here in North America we may see a revival. Nah, not gonna happen, we've gotta have that 60K job and 500K house before we can think of getting married

Yep. It's true.

But I would say that wen God presents her, get her. There is no need to hesitate.

i think Spiritual maturity is the basic foundation in all this. Get to know GOD first, get to hear from Him first before jumping into a relationship let alone marriage. i believe GOD has a whole process to even prepare man into marriage. it is not based on assumptions but basic TRUTH. and He does assure us, through the very visions, dreams, HIs voice, 2 or 3 witnesses. usually it is not what we want at the end that matters, its what HE Wants with basis to our calling and HIS purpose in our lives.
its a pity that many could be easily swayed due to impatience, hurt, pain, wanting to be loved etc etc. emotional distress could be one of the points as well. lacking that basic trust and faith in the MOST HIGH GOD, which is built on a daily fellowship with HIM.

currently i see marriages that are not truely blessed by GOD why? considering concepts such as Lust or lacking that basic relationship. i beseech everyone who is not married yet not to rush into this thing please, let us all ask GOD to take us throught the steps that HE wants. that we should not take this lightly, i believe being divorced is a painful thing, and marriage without GODS hand is even more painful.

if our eyes make us sin, lets gorge it out. better to enter into heaven blind than enter hades with both eyes.
GOD can give us all the self control, the strength HE wants us to have. everything we need is in HIM, we all grow a certain age were we feel that we can not make it alone, but feelings are just that. TRUTH is if its not GODS time to get married and we do, and even worse if we get the person HE DID NOT intend, it will be too late. ai
i might be throwing a fear speech here but i love everyone really, and i would love to see testimonies of a blessed marriage. i have seen few until now, but i believe there can be MOre. wayy more.
