But I don't want to change it?

I know that what God wants is whats going to happen and any struggling on my part is just extra pain. . . . .But I've had a plan. a vision for my life. for a long time now. and suddenly its all coming to a halt because of one tiny struggle that i just can't seeem to get over no matter how much i try to hop it!

So I'm thinking. . . .maybe God wants me to totally go a different direction wit my life. . . . . .does that mean I drop all me plans and just go with it? Won't have much of a choice in a few months though. either my plan is going to work out or I'm gonna have to go soul searching for what God wants me to do. ^_^.

Pray for Guidance for me. I'm really struggling in quick sand right now.

Well, God doesn't always get what He wants. Else there would be no sickness and unbelievers. But obedience to God is super good, and He will bless you for it. And God's plan for us is always better than our own plans. God may be trying to close the door on your plans because He is protecting you from something. But either way, He knows our hearts desires better than us. So just walk in obedience and faith, and He will provide for you. Much love, Shine.

That sounds very likely he is protecting you from something unknown to you. 9 years ago I tried really hard to get one specific license which would have to my understanding improved my further employment but at the final test I met impassable wall. On the final exam for that license when I heard the results I was told the following: "You did not do anything wrong actually, BUT I have very strong feeling that I shall not grant you pass from this exam so therefore I mark this as fail for you." I knew that failing the exam means I never again will be able to retake it so this unique chance for me had passed.

4 months later I heard news from the group who were passed the exam and further studying the subject. In their group there had been one event I too would been part of. This event was very humiliating (and harmful for me if I would been there) and caused small scandal when it popped up in newspapers. That moment I thanked God for protecting me by denying the pass for the exam.

If free will exists in the way some people believe it does than you have a lot of options when it comes to how it will change. But getting into that would be a bit of a tangent.

It really depends on the situation. From the information you gave it is really hard to discuss what you should do. If your plan is something you have been working on a long time and is about to reach a major milestone then I wouldn't drop everything until you hit that milestone. The only exception would be if you figured out that your plan would force you to live a life where you would be unhappy. If God wants you to change your life in a huge way I would think that he would make his message more clear than you are making it sound.

Good luck in deciding on which path to take.

Yeah I forgot to mention that. If God really wants something from you he repeats it but leaves always room for your own thinking and doubt. One difficulty perhaps don't mean much but if several, itself unimportant issues, starts to pile up and all pointing to something specific... It's matter of trust and faith to decide do you believe is it just testing or his way to lead you to avoid something unpleasant.

I don't know your life circumstance but I have prayed that the Lord change my heart and make his thoughts my thoughts. About one year ago, I began feeling unsettled and nothing was working. Everything was up for renewal -my lease on my apartment, lease on my practice, and I was leaving the clinic where I worked. Logic said, "Start a private practice." Then I began realizing how I was alone, had no church, hated the weather where I was, had no family or friends where I lived. I was sooo drained. I realized that I needed to re-evaluate and FAST. I started searching for places I had always dreamed to live, and when I decided to make one leap of faith, I realized how easy the Lord would make it for me to leave the area. Then, everything started happening so fast and He made clear confirmations along the way. The Lord's way is not always logical at the time, or EASY but certainly the best for us. Keep pressing in!

If you're ready, you could "give" God your plans. The things you hoped for, and had been working towards. And ask for His will to be done... but only if you're ready, of course. :)

I can't guarantee that you'll get what you were hoping for, by giving everything to God. The struggle may dissolve, or it may remain. You might discover something even more wonderful than you could have imagined, in place of your plans. But I do think that you'll have greater peace about the whole situation. And I will certainly pray that He shows you what to do... and gives you the strength and willingness to do it. :)

I dont know what you are struggling with, but I can tell you need to be sure you are walking the cricified life, and IN the will of God. hope this helps: You are in my prayers:

What are the desires of your heart?

First and foremost this must be our greatest desire:

Luk 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tempted Him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

Luk 10:26 He said to him, what is written in the Law? How do you read it?
Luk 10:27 And answering, he said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.
Luk 10:28 And He said to him, you have answered right; do this and you shall live.

This will cancel out the easy do nothing gospel, being sold as truth today!
Now to love Jesus with all our heart, soul and strength, isn’t a passive love, where you just do nothing sit back, and think Jesus is your cloak or covering, or became your righteousness!

Mat 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.
Jesus made it perfectly clear who His sheep were and who HIs goats were, and His sheep were the ones who did as He commanded.

Luk 13:3 I tell you, No. But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.

He made it clear, He came to set mankind free from the bondage's of sin, NOT in them, because IF you truly love the Lord your God, and are seeking His kingdom and righteousness, you will soon learn it’s much different than what is being preached in all the popular saved IN sin churches.
Joh 14:15 If you love Me, keep My commandments.
Joh 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My love, even as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.
Joh 15:11 I have spoken these things to you so that My joy might remain in you and your joy might be full.
The joy of the Lord comes from obeying Him, in all areas of your life, where you are actually set free from the bondage's of sin and worldliness, and walking the crucified life in reality, where Jesus is your strength, and your greatest desire is to please Him, deny self, and follow Him on the narrow path that few will find!
Luk 13:23 And one said to Him, Lord, are the ones being saved few? And He said to them,
Luk 13:24 Strive to enter in at the narrow gate. For I say to you, many will seek to enter in and shall not be able.
So the desires of one, who is truly converted to Christ, will be to do what Jesus said to do, repent, and obey from your heart all He has commanded us to do!
So if you love the Lord, then you will also love His truth, and be totally appalled at all the false ways being taught today, that teach we are born sinners, and Jesus is the cure, and covering, because we cannot possible obey Him, and if we ever try, then grace is canceled out.
Then under this false premise, when Jesus said to:
Go and sin no more!
Repent or perish!
Strive and agonize to enter!
Be perfect even as my father in heaven is perfect! ((Heart purity)
Endure to the end!
Hold fast!
Count the high cost of following Him!
If you love me you will obey me!
Follow my example to the end!
To be righteous is doing what is right!
Keep your lamp stand full!
Defend and contend earnestly for the faith!
Repent and do your first works if you are still IN sin!
Makes all these commands a choice, not a command to do or perish!
Jesus came to set the captives free, but He didn't become sin, so we could enter the kingdom still double minded, and IN sins, because you’re false teacher told you He is your provision, and any obedient faith of Abraham is earning your way into heaven!
So set your mind and heart on things above, come out from among her, repent and crucify your flesh once and for all to receive the mercy of God, as the city of Nineveh did, and follow the true gospel according to godliness, where the crucified life is the abundant life In Christ, as we touch His blood in repentance, cleansing our dead conscience of sin, then serving the living God, in all humility, power, and grace, which tells us to deny all ungodliness and worldly lusts and passions. Do not trust He did it for you in some magical transformation that never occurred!
Tommy
If you love Him, you will obey Him, and follow His commands, it’s that simple!
1Jn 2:3 And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments.
1Jn 2:4 He who says, I have known Him, and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jn 2:5 But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of God is perfected. By this we know that we are in Him.
1Jn 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk even as He walked.

Where ever you go, there you are. If you are a disciple of Jesus, you going to be one where ever you go.
The easy way and the way you want things don't make for growth. I KNOW from experience.

Acutally. . . . .the way I think God "might" be pushing me seems easier then what I'm pushing myself to get through.

I wanna Finish school with a computer science degree so I don't have to worry about finding a job or not having money. But I feel like God is pushing me to go into media. but media is a hard industry to live easily on. So i wanna explore it after I've finished my last two years of school. But theres ONE class (trig) that I'm having SUCH a hard time getting through. and If i can't pass it then my WHOLE degree goes down the drain. . . . . .

So do i give up all my plans and go think media exploration and see what I can do? or try to push through this trig class and finish my degree and see what I can do after?

Basically, from what i read is all about YOUR plans, and how God may have something different and you don't want to do different than YOUR plans. Perhaps this is why things aren't working. You're still focusing on what YOU want and not really, honestly setting yourself aside to know what God wants. Just something to think about. I'm sure your first reaction will be to disagree, but i suggest just take the time to think honestly before denying it.
