I started dating this girl about 9 months ago and things were going great. Her parents liked me and we loved each other, we both even promised to have no sex before marriage or anything. I told my parents and they didn't take it so well. They are natural born pakistani parents. They have not even met this girl however, they are convinced i will fail college, when she motivates me, that i will no succeed in life and his is posion, and that God doesn't want this. Also, they should arrange my marriage, i can choose from a selection of girls, but they wil choose, when Im 27, my girlfriend and I are 18. But they are convinced i should leave her and forget about her. What should i do? i really need some help, ive cried and prayed about this, time and time again. but im lost

Hello, my name is Laela and maybe I can be of some help. First and foremost, bless you all the glory to our God he loves you so much. He loves all of his children. Our Lord is he only one who can pick our soul mates. So many will walk in and out of our lives but he will give us the signs as to who is the right one for us. I do not mean to offend your parents it is not my intention, but God gives us the choice based off of his signs. I know it will not be easy to convince your parents, but if deep in your heart you know she is the one and love her, do not leave. She could very much likely be the one God intended you to marry.
