Like the title says: what is the worst thing you ever ate?

I think mine is a tie between lima beans in a micro dinner and ice cream with vinegar xD

Those lima beans made me wanna puke, and well the vinegar on ice cream thing... i like to try strange food combinations and they usually turn out good or acceptable...but that was not good at all xD and it gave me bad gas... but umm yea lol

(and it does not have to be a food item, if you ever ate anything that was not food)

and for that well when i was like 13 i ate stuff off the floor of the school bus on dares... the only time i lost a dare was when they dared me to eat a live wasp xD that's where i quit :p after that i just ate normal things LOL well mayb ice cream with vinegar isn't that normal but you kno what i mean...

I'm really quite curious as to why you had ice cream with vinegar. :p

I've had dried crickets and larvae (they were cheddar and sour cream and onion flavored), but they didn't taste that bad. I've had caviar and I thought it was disgusting. You know that dead fish smell that you smell down by a river? That's what it tasted like, plus really salty. I'm not much of a fish person to begin with, though.

I've also tried cat food/dog food (the dry kind) before. It's not very tasty, that's for sure! But I can't think of anything that made me want to puke, not off the top of my head at least.

The other week i went for an Indian with the church girls, we go to that Indian the whole time and its great. Except this particular day they had a lamb curry, it was so bad that I actually spat it out! I grew up on a sheep farm so am fussy about lamb in general but that was horrific!

Oh, gosh. What did I eat? Sea Urchin (Uni) sushi in Japan. I tried it. Made me feel so nauseated (there's very little food that will do that too me). I felt sick for hours. It wasn't off or anything, my stomach just couldn't handle the richness of it. I just Googled it. My goodness. I ate the gonads of Sea Urchin! Sometimes I'm just too adventurous when it comes to trying new foods.

I almost swallowed an earwig. It had crawled into the straw of a glass of iced tea that I left on the counter for a couple hours. Remembered it, took a drink, something wiggled in my mouth, spit it out and proceeded to die.

Ok, yeah, I didn't die. Super gross, though.

My sister made dinner for me once...it was bacon-wrapped, bacon-stuffed chicken breast. The bacon inside didn't get cooked. The chicken was iffy. The bacon outside was burnt black. I tried to eat it so I wouldn't hurt my sister's feelings, but some things...just shouldn't be attempted.

:O hey now, don't dis da chinese herbal tea!

that stuff is legend lol as it says on the box: "Our herb teas are formulated according to the ancient Chinese text, "The Yellow Emperor's Medical Classic: Treatise on Health and Longevity" written over 2,000 years ago, this important document is the foundation of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is regarded as the highest authority on Chinese medical knowledge."

and if it says it on da box then it must be true :p

I was at a party and they were serving cow's tongue. It tasted like ham and I was about grab another bite when my cousin told me it was cow's tongue. I really wanted to puke everything but it would be very rude to do that in front of the host. @___@

I dont like to eat anything that is raw. I was studying out at my classmate's house so I ended up having dinner at their house. They served raw fish with vinegar and some spices on it and that was the only viand served so I really don't have a choice.I don't want to look picky so I ate it without even bothering to chew it so that i wouldn't have to taste it. @_______@

I once sipped out of a cup of spoiled milk when I was 5. That was the most horrible thing on earth.

As far as non-rancid things I've tried go.... I think swiss cheese tastes pretty nasty. I don't like salt and vinegar flavored potato chips either.

I'm usually pretty smart about not trying things that look like I'd find them disgusting. So I don't have many gross-out stories to brag about.

I once ate liver by mistake. I thought it was steak, but it wasn't... it was liver and it was the most horrible tasting thing I've ever had.

The second most horrible thing I've eaten was this thing that someone had made that was like this layer thing. It had a layer of bread, tuna, cream cheese, and some other stuff. I didn't know what it was and when I tried it, it was so disgusting.

Yeah, cow's tongue and liver are pretty bad.

I have another story. Several years ago I was watching Monster House (the movie) on TV. For some reason, I was enthralled. It was a hot day and I had a glass filled with ice cubes. During the movie, I drank from the glass and crushed the ice in my mouth all without looking what I was doing. At some point, I tasted copper in my mouth and looked down. To my horror, I had bitten out a huge chunk of the glass and had been chewing that, not the ice cubes! So I freaked out, spat the remaining shards of glass onto the carpet, where they congealed with blood and ran my mouth under the water tap. In the end, my tongue and mouth were cut up like crazy, so I spat out a lot of blood. I feel squeamish around blood, especially my own, so I felt very faint and almost did faint. To this day, whenever I'm eating ice cubes from a glass I watch what I'm doing. That particular moment was very scary. I'm just glad I didn't get to the point of swallowing the glass!

Wow Tintin... that's pretty scary. Uni and glass. Quite the adventurous palate you have.

Worst thing I ate was mashed potatoes on a brownie. On a dare. Wouldn't recommend it.

I didn't intentionally eat the shards of glass!
