Hey guys,

Just trying to get a better grasp on what exactly this site can do for me and was wondering if you could answer a question or two.

1. Why christianchat.com?
I chose it because I wanted to explore my faith and I'm also conducting research about online communities.

2. What's the most valuable thing you've gotten out of this community?
So far, mine is the openness and friendliness of the people. Y'all rock :)

Most valuable thing about it for me is the people. I've met some really awesome people here that help keep me focused on God. I have a lack of Christian influence in my daily life so CC has been invaluable for that.

Interesting perspective. I hope I can gain something along those lines, as I have no direct Christian influences either.

1 I don't know many people outside of my computer. And the Bible says to hang out if you will around other christians.
I am also wanting to expand my knowledge. Some people on here seem to know every bible verse and their meanings by request.

T_Laurich. I feel ya. I don't know hardly any Bible verses, or anything about the Bible really. I feel like it's easier to learn here than in a classroom setting (I go to a Christian college)
