What was your first pet? And what did you name it?

I got a puppy when I was 15 and named her...Skittles. Dunno why. But then she turned into a family pet, not really "mine" anymore.

So then...I got a turtle for my 16th birthday that might have been named Donatello...or maybe Godfrey? Anyway, he um, committed suicide.

Oh my! Poor, sad turtle!

Years and years after my first pet ..I won a goldfish at the carnival/fair and filled the bowl up too high with water.. He too decided to end his life.

There were cats in the house before my twinny and I were born, but our first pets were cats, ours was Pocahontas (our 3 year old selves favorite movie) and our bro adopted her sis Riff-Raff

when i was a child i really wanted a pet..but my parents were not fans of animals..however after begging them for so so long they agreed to get me a fish...but when we got to the pet store i asked for a snail...he was awesome I named him Popeye the snail-er man..popeye use to crawl out of the tank and when i got home from school id have to search for him..he lived for a few years until we adopted a cat..she ate him one day while we were out and he escaped from the tank to the carpet...lol..:(
