Christian Movies

Hey guys,

I have been praying for my sister to receive the Holy Spirit for about 4 months now and now she has an interest. I am currently studying abroad so I cant take her to my church to share my experience and her interest is not strong enough for her to go on her own.

I was wondering if there is any movies that you know about that deal with Christianity but are not too aggressive and are still fun. That we could both watch and talk about.

Ahmara, what ratings would you want for these movies, I would recommend ones rated PG, PG-13, or G. But again, it depends what you want in a Christian movie.

WillfollowsGod thanks for the reply. My sister is over 25 and I am over 21 so the rating is not a big deal, However if you believe PG is best I would gladly accept any suggestions you have !

Ok. Ahmara. What types of Christian movies, animated, live-action, etc. I recommend the Bible TV series for literacy and comparing the Bible to that series. Some would recommend the Passion of the Christ, I would not. Also again it depends what content you want in these Christian movies since they have different subject matter.

I think honestly anything light hearted. I don't want to have to explain too many things or really compare it to the bible - only because my sister works a lot and has never read any part of the bible. I don't have a clear picture really of what kind of movie, I may be chasing after something that doesn't exist.

Anything, lighthearted, hmm. I draw a blank. I believe you can find that kind of a movie, I just can't think of what would fit your description. Since some Christian movies have some form of lightheartedness in them. Oh, Ahmara. How about the movie Joshua? That could be a good segue to conversations or To Save A Life.

That's great Thank you. I looked up Joshua and the first one that came up was a horror movie. I thought it didn't look like the right one but I might have to watch that after. They are great suggestions and I'm excited to watch them with my sister !
