Ever feel like just not growing as fast as you should. Have a great desire to be close to God like I see others and know that is wrong to compare to others. How did you get over any what you felt like walls in growing faith. Hope this make some sense what I'm trying to get across. God Bless

Hey - I know exactly what you're talking about; I feel like I can't get there fast enough and changes come along not fast enough. I get scared sometimes that maybe I am just swimming around in the dark and not actually knowing god

I understand you as well. In school for instance, I see other Christians and their love walk with God and then I look at my life and I think to myself "What is wrong with me? Why am I not that close to God?" Well I know one reason is because I don't invest much time in my relationship with Him and because I don't habitually study His word. And I also think that my sins that I keep repeating also interfere with my relationship with Him. I don't know what else to say but that God may fill you with the Holy Spirit and that He may pour His love to you.( However, I just want you to remember that our feelings can be decieving and that Satan can use that against us in our relationship with God.) I will be praying for you and may God bless you.

*Another thing you can do is find a quiet place and just recite Jesus or Daddy/Papa to Him and just relax and feel His presence. He is Awesome. Always remember that He loves you beyond your imagination; that is He is not like human beings because He is love and while we should respect Him. He should also be our true love.

Yes! I have MANY regrets One of them being not going to church much & making good christian friends & going to church camp :( I missed out on a lot :(
Children who read this a long with teenagers 17 & under please DONT be someone your not, If you like studying then study & dont let partying, skipping, fighiting ,drugs boys or anything like that get in the way because your teenage years in my opinion are the easiest to live, you dont have to worry about working & dont have a family to feed.
DONT depart from God because TRUST ME he will be the ONLY one who will be there when you most need someone & you will need him.
Try not to fall in love, especially with someone who already loves someone & cant & never will return your feelings...

Well, for me...you have got to be honest. Speak to god.. tell him your problem. There will be time for everything even for ups and downs. I've been through that, sometimes when i wonder where is god, the next thing I'm in troubles with somethings but I trust in him. Try to take the initiative to make a move, something like you do something for your dad so that he will be happy. Talk to him more, even when you're not praying. Ask for his advices through bibles. God has his purpose in our lives, everyone has different roles. Even when u don't discuss with friends about christianity doesn't mean you are not growing. As we experience him in different ways, our faith grow and trust him more...without knowing...you grow...God Bless You with every drop of water from his words

The presence of the holy ghost fixes all of that! Then you know God is right there, and you can literally feel your self getting closer, or falling away! Praise God!!

Sometimes we stop growing because of sin. Sin separates us from God. Or it could be that you're not seeking Him like you should, praising, worshipping, praying, reading His Word, or just unload and talk about your problems with Him. He's faithful and He'll listen to you.
