So in my community we are planning on having a concert of Christian rock for teens. We are so hungry to reach out to those teens to those who are lost, who have slipped from God's path, and to those who are deeply rooted in Him. Could you think of good ideas to get teens to come to this concert? What are some dos/donts? What are some good fundraisers? I would love your ideas big or small. I would also highly appreciate it if you would pray about this. God bless you for taking the time to read this and thank you so much in advance.

* We know for a fact that we are going to have food. What kind should we get?

I decided to post this in this forum because I would also love your input. I think some of you may have even done this before. Once again, God bless. I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

Great to hear you want to reach out to your community. :)

The first questions that pop into my mind are, what size concert do you plan on having? What is your budget like? What do you consider your 'community'?

I think these questions need to be considered as depending on the size of the event and the amount of target audience, what you're looking for would change dramatically. If it's a church sponsored event with approx. 100~ people going, it could easily be done with 1-3 young bands wanting to get themselves known in the public eye. If its more of a larger scale through multiple churches in your community, communication would need to take place between the executives in power. Do you hold a position of power yourself or have connections to those wanting to organize this event? That could be important to note also.

I haven't organized a concert myself or anything but I thought considering these sorts of things could help, can't really give you professional advice on the specifics, sorry!
