I don't know if anyone will this see thread, but I find myself very isolated and lonely. I am engaged, to a nice man, and its just me and him. Im a house wife, so I cook and clean, and clean some more, and dont really do anything challenging or engaging. I mean I don't have passion or a reason to wake up in the morning. Its really said. I wish I could meet someone, or a couple in the Atlanta Ga area that I could connect with and minister with.

Do you mean you don't have a passion for God? Like in a sense your faith has become dull? If this is the case it's time to truly reconnect with God, believe me when I say faith can be something that becomes so amazing and beautiful and fun you crave God everyday all day. And there are so many people to be ministered here in cc, many people come here for help and to be taught

That sounds like me, when I first got married (8 years ago). No job, new city and no friends, no church, no anything except cleaning and cooking and grocery shopping and waiting around for my husband to come home.

The best thing you can do for yourself is go out and find a job that you find fulfilling. I went through a handful of different jobs over the course of a few years before I found one I enjoyed doing, and it was just enough to get me moving, and get me out of the house for a few hours during the time my husband wasn't at home. It left me plenty of time for the cleaning and cooking and spending time with my husband.

Also, finding a church and getting involved would help a lot- you could always volunteer in the nursery, or join a Bible study group.

The main thing is to just get out of the house and pursue good things. Otherwise, what on earth will you have to talk with your fiance about when he comes home? "Oh, I cleaned the bathroom today...again...and um, yep, I washed some more dishes, too. How was your day?"
