Why focus on who was worse?
Why judge the actions of others?
Why not focus on God rather than on men ?

Why comment on a thread if you have no insight on the topic, I think theres plenty of more positive ways for you to get attention

I personally voted against Obama, am a republican, but everywhere you look you see criticism towards him. I am just saying George Bush spent so much of taxpayers money with his war on terrorism invading the middle east which is still killing innocent civilians in third world countries to this day I just can't imagine how Obama's actions could be worse.

I am just trying to see things the way God would see them , most of Obama's criticism comes from his Obamacare which is a huge tax aimed to provide healthcare to the nation as a whole

Bush used money we had for his plan. Obama has increased the deficit by 6 trillion dollars in five short years with nothing to show. At least Bush had a war to show where the money went. And Obamacare sucks because the people who do have private insurance have to pay for the people who don't, it is crap.

Killing Americans by lowering the standard of care and continuing economic slavery through welfare maybe?

Neither has been a good option. As for money, Obama has far far outspent Bush and put into place policies which will continue that trend long after he's left office.

No, no he didn't. The US never had the money to go to Iraq. He re created the federal deficit after Clinton had actually shrank it (by cutting welfare to get re elected). I'm not and never have been a Clinton fan, but seriously the Republicans finally got what some of the budget reform they wanted via Clinton and then completely blew it via Bush.

Obama is certainly no Christian with his gay marriage rights,pro-choice,lies, and Im sure theres plenty more, but Bush certainly had his hands dirty with bloodshed both American soldiers and in the middle east and put spiked the deficit

Obama is the worst president period.

Let me iterate my points.

1. Obamacare - Do you know why it was delayed till 2014? It's because the President knew that if they implemented it in 2011 the year after it was passed, he would be voted out. By delaying it until now, they risked one thing, the House is now controlled by Republicans, and so this is why we now have so many issues. See, the House has to be voted in every 2 years, the reason why the Democrats no longer control the house is because of Obamacare.

Yes, Obama won the presidency, but because of the implementation of the Affordable Health Care act now, people are realizing that it is really affecting them. If it was rolled out in 2011, then Mitt Romney would be president right now. Truth is, it's the people's fault for not learning about the AFA before voting for Obama back.

2. As much as I hate to say it, Obama can get away with things that other presidents can't for reasons I will not state publicly.

3. Bill Clinton is unfairly credited with balancing the budget, he road the Techboom that the Reagan administration set up, and George Bush Senior continued. In fact, if you look at a lot of the policies Clinton supported, the balanced budget was going to go down. Banning assault rifles, increasing taxes...

4. The absolute worst foreign policy of any president. Obama's statement about "red lines" almost resulted in disaster earlier this month.

5. Gun Control - Citing reasons that are not logistically accurate, Obama has tried and failed to enact laws on gun owners that are unconstitutional.

Now Bush is also with his faults.
- War on Iraq that had no clear end.
- We should have annexed Iraq.
- Government Bailout on Housing - I mean he bailed out the banks and not the people who pay taxes. That makes no sense to me. Free market dictates government nonintervention, a bail out might have helped then but it also hampered the consequences that should be learned from that form of business, also the bailouts given to the banks were mostly used in stocks which has now also put the current stock market on a bubble.

Either way, both presidents made a deficit, but Obama overall in my opinion is Worse.

Rand Paul in 2016 please.

Would this be from a spiritual or financial point of view? I believe that in the end, God is more concerned with the spiritual. I'll support a president who misspends money any day over one who protects and promotes abortion and other unrepentant sins.

(Also, Obamacare is unconstitutional.)

The national debt under Bush Jr.'s eight years increased by $4.2 trillion. The national debt under Obama's five years thus far has increased $7.1 trillion. And he still wants to spend! I realize that Congress is the one who decides on the budget, but I also know that the President okays it. Taking these facts into account (along with Obama's attack on the Second Amendment) and the fact that gas prices sky-rocketed because of the whole (O)peration (I)raqi (L)iberation "police action" (which is total B.S.) I think they're about the same. Bush actually may have been worse, but I also don't condone a President who swings pro-choice without strong regulations. They've both been disappointments. And I'm sorry to say it. But that's how I feel.

What is the purpose of this thread other than to stir up arguments?

And if you're going to complain about people questioning your threads, goCardinals, you are in the wrong place. This is a public forum where anyone is free to comment. Whether it's to respond to your question, or to question the entire purpose of thread. Best thing to do is get used to it, or just not post, because it happens all the time.

And it reflects poorly on you as a new member to accuse a known and well respected member of this site as looking for attention. Obviously you don't know her, or you would know better than to make such an unfounded attack on her character.

I would just like to ask you two why you even clicked on the post if you had no intentions on giving your opinion on the topic, no offense but it would seem you were looking for confrontation, all posts may not be for me but I certainly understand everyone has their own outlook

But back on topic I think Bush set the downward spiral in motion and it opened the door for Obama to come in and plague this great nation, after all the things we had been through with the Bush administration it made people lean democrat, and yes Bush did have things to deal with after 9/11 but the war on terrorism? I just don't know

Australia has had medicare - something far more extensive than Obama care for a few decades now. We survived and it's amazing to be supported medically when you can't afford it.
