From what I do know about my biological family and if I remember correctly from my research, they landed I think it was in the 1700's off the North Carolina coast and if I recall right they were French. Found this out through various sources other than the original person so I'm still trying to verify all the details. I think there was some Irish in there too somewhere I don't remember all the details of it at this point rofl. It's difficult to do research with people dying off and not getting along with the others. But it's all worth it to keep trying I guess.

My dad's side is pretty much English, and my mom's side is pretty much Irish. So I usually say 50% of each. I think that there is some German in there somewhere, too.

That being said, the Sibley (my last name) family started with two brothers who came to America in the 1650's, so I am sure there could be some other blood in there, too. My aunt is the family historian (we are all a bunch of history nuts) and has a couple of books that document the whole thing. Being the only Sibley grandson, its on me to carry on a family name that has been in America for some 350 years....

I'm German/Irish on my dad's side, and African American/teenybit white on my mom's side (like 1/8 or 1/16. something like that).

People have mistaken me for Hispanic and Middle Eastern before. lol
