I know this is a Christian website and christians are not supposed to watch porn or anything that makes us lust after another person. But I want to say this because sadly there are christians that watch porn and here are also non-christians

I hate movies that tell us that porn is not a big deal, I mean comedy movies like Zack and Miri make a porno, The Girl next door and a lot of other movies and tv-shows where someone is watching porn like it is a normal thing - it's not. This makes me so mad, these women are being abused and raped in front of the camera and they are pretending to enjoy it.
It's weird that so many people think they are actually enjoying this, because in the movies i've seen most of them are horrible actors. But I guess people are just believing what they want to believe, so they don't feel bad about what they are doing.

Don't support this industry by watching porn videos/movies, not only because it is violent and gives a wrong image of sex but another problem with porn is that it is a catalyst for human trafficking.
Thousands of traffickedchildren and young adults are forced to make pornographic films.
The United States State Department estimates that 2 million people are trafficked around the world each year, with 15,000 - 18,000 of these being within the US and these numbers are growing.
Some of those who are addicted to porn eventually loose satisfaction with just watching sexual encounters and seek them out themselves with trafficked human beings.

Please...
- read more about the porn industry and how it is linked with human trafficking
- tell people around you
- pray

Looking the other way is an epidemic in our churches. We need to get out of bed and bring the light to the darkness.

I understand, respect, and even somewhat admire your belief that pornography is wrong. Yet I have to correct you. Believe it or not some women actually really like working in pornography for multiple reasons. Not all of them dislike it. Also the profession pornography companies are actually some of the best when it comes to treatment of employees, women, and pay.

Pitifully said, it´s a vice and also, an industry both genders would pick to hurt themselves.

It spite of good intentions, thise thread is giving more attention to it than "help". Here it´s an example: Any young people, underaged could what THAT VIDEO without registering on Utube, since it -outside CC- requieres to "prove" we are old enough to see what it is all about.

I would have noticed this fault to avoid... :(

That sounds like someone who watches pornography and would say to justify it. What is your source? The pornography industry? That's like going to the tobacco industry for the facts about smoking. I'm sure people who use prostitutes say the very same thing. Sure that little girl wants to be out there on the streets, right? Whatever helps you sleep at night.

it is certainly possible that some of the actors enjoy making porn ...... the real question is what happened in their lives to bring them to that point. to enjoy porn would be to separate sexuality from our emotions and that is a terrible thing. there is certainly sin there but i would suspect that as much as those actors sin, they have also been sinned against to bring them into that world.

Trust me, I'm sure they would rather be in other respected professions.

You have to understand too that, no matter if they like it or not, the person who is addicted to it suffers the most. Trust me, this is one sin that haunts me. I pray almost everyday that Jesus will take this away from me. Even though I put filters on, I can find my way around them. I feel that I am being punished, or God just isn't ready for me to quit yet. I don't know, but I hope that confessing publicly will be start to recovery.

So not only does it hurt the performers, it also hurts the watchers.

Its not natural...its perversion..
Its not enjoyment, its a death trap and they are unaware of what True Joy and Happiness means..

Even pros working that industry take steps to get rid of stress because the breach they made in natural barriers God set in their bodies are affecting their souls...they only way out is Jesus and they don't care even if they have to go to hell....

Anybody who has watched the making of such movies will not feel the same....Pray more to God is the only way out for those who fell for this kind of filth...no other way out.Its satan's firm grip over humanity...
God is the only way out!...

I respect your opinion and concern but, tis week, I had the chance to repair some HDD and had to make backups of the data some person asked me and, to my surprise, there was porno in several of those disks, so I had to call that person to ask him: "Do you want me to back it up or you give me permission to remove all of them?" He gave me permission to REMOVE IT (Good) but, while checking some of them, I saw a latin young woman how likes to be seen and those who seemed togive her some kind of praise... So, to my understanding, men and women like this. There was a time I saw and enjoy porn. Thankfully I don´t like to see this and, inclusivelly, I felt disgusted each time I see married ladies showing to much of her body, just for the pleasure they seem to show as a need to be seen. I do understand, during youth, we men and women seek to be liked and sought but, when married or engaged, I don´t think it should be sought any longer, because there is a hidden flaw on rejection, selesteem, socialized lust, being a little showy and that being unsured the person we are on being accepted or rejected.

Porn gave many man and women a way to be sensually promoted as politiciand likes to be heard or sought. If I was young, I probably would like to be sought for the body, and not for the soul I am, and I have seen there is something fleshy when showing certain pictures or hidden others from public eyes, though I know the difference between porn, social personal promotion and being in the market place of public eyes.

Some need pron to see they´re not dead and, of course, that is spiritually dying. Some show the "best" they think they have, not being aware some pics or movies come to the realm of porn (conciously or unaware of this) and I know I hate having seen a man and a woman in their intercourse business, just as dogs in the street, but it was God teaching who turn me off from that sin (covetting) because I didn´t know how close it was from desiring a woman who pertains or belongs to another fellow who "likes" his body be used by others. No matter it be to be called a "star" or a "porn star". If any spouse acts or plays as a pimp, no doubt he or she pays too little atttion to what others thinks and, sadly, we human beings do not like to wear dark glasses or veils to hide body part to hinder anothers ideas on what they could think or imagine. Just think of those who have thought wrong about our children nude: Sins are in OUR MINDs. I don´t like my future wife had enjoyed her "artist" nudeness. I don´t like I was naked in a large line when I went to the military tests to be approved in an academy... I don´t like porn but, as a human, somethings cannot be denied, as that´s why porn is a visual drug many still consume and, sadly, in the mind of some Christians, some have like to be a porn "star", while married men and Christian women might have thought prostitution is enjoyable and profitable.

The good news is Jesus! Mary Magdaline turned back from the wrong place. She did what she did and sinned no more. No matter how big I think I am: Many turned to Jesus, and I turned to GOD and HIS good and perfect will: Porn is wrong. Being showy is vanity and wrong, but some acnnot see what they don´t wnat to see: The truth is to be seen.

Yesterday I chatted with a friend who owned a porn site... Now I know he repented and turned to the right way (he made it just to get money). He is aware it gives money (as any other drug) but he is walking the way of Jesus.

On this there are several reasons: Sexual drives, pleasure, money, indulgency and another addictive $in.

Its not a new study, its been proven over and over all the time that doing such activities cause imbalance...God is the only Remedy and Solution and the Only way out...
Well, I knew it wasn't good for you, but this is the first I've heard about an actual research study concerning it. I agree that God is the only solution.

am not afraid of speaking out where its needed, the church might neglect me for talking too much in detail,...but still God uses places and sites like this to speak out....
And yes, there is actual research and there is too much Prayer too nowadays that makes the porn industry on the edge of extinction,....let's hope it happens..
God Bless :)

I have to agree with you, Mary Magdalene, along with Rahab and the Samaritan woman at the well were all prostitutes who fell into gods grace. I know from experience that sometimes to be closest to Jesus, you must first be furthest away from him. If my life was always peachy living in sin I would never have met him. Thankfully I was unhappy in life and just along for the ride. Mostly I felt accepted by the people I was associated with. I am far from perfect now, but it seems that I am an onion and every time I feel that I am doing ok, God opens up new issues I need to work on.

So if there is a positive spin on this subject, some of these men and women are touched by Jesus and can leave the industry for a better life. It may take a situation like this to find a faith that would not have been conceived without the pain. Praise God for the one's who find Him, and keep praying for the others.
