First you should respect your wife as you do your mother. She is your other half that helps balance life for both of you. Imagine being married to someone exactly like you. There would be no balance and you both would end up killing yourselves or destroying your familly. So Praise God for her and treat her the way you want her to treat you. If she doesn't, don't give in, the Lord will work with her heart and she will see God in you and give in. Never talk bad about your spouse especially to your friends when they start nagging about their wives. Instead, hold your ground and say nothing but good things about her and you will be doing Gods work and soon your so called friends will follow in your steps.
