Just be patient and prepare yourself for the Lord because when He call you home, you will get a new, pain-free body.
Jer2911,

Thank you for the scriptures and reminding me Jesus went threw more pain than I could ever believe. I do have a journal just have it filled up so probably need a new one. Writing helps me think and motivates me to learn new things. I love to read and write. It takes my mind off things. I use to have my little brother to talk to about God. But lately he been dealing with some things and seems to be acting out. And with my church I don't volunteer a lot because I am tired a lot. So its hard for me to meet people in church. And when I have a hard staying awake my wife pinches me nicely to wake up during the message. So I probably just look grumpy to people lol. I don't know if ever been somewhere you really don't like and you just feel thoughtless. I am in the same thing everyday state of mind. A lot of times feel like a zombie with no thoughts just moving place to place. Maybe that's me suppressing the emotions of being fed up with work or my work conditions. I could be suppressing them which creates zombie like mind as a self defense. Obviously a mind with nothing going on cant create anxiety or anger. But who knows. I am thankful to have found this site because I can connect on my own time. I work night shift so its nice to get on here after work or otherwise I am asleep when most people are around. Thank you again its awesome to be prayed for.

You are right. An idle mind is the devil's playground. Its a good thing that you like reading and writing to keep your mind busy. Have you read "its not about me" by max lucado? Such a great book about focusing on God and not the self. Don't give up on God. Patience is learned through our tribulations. God bless...

I am sorry to hear this tourist and your wife def is still alive in you! I believe a mans heart is to be transformed not only threw God but threw a loving caring wife. Your heart is where she is alive still transforming you into a wise and humble man. A man of God, a man who knows all too well the pain of hardship. Your wife may be gone physically but smiling apon you spiritually. Thank you for your advice it was a rough week for me and crazy how God will work threw others in my time of feeling I am losing the battle. But I do strive everyday to live threw my pain for the Glory of God. I try to live by this: I do not let life prove who I am but I want to show life who I am. I have a bigger God than any problem on earth.

Tinkerbell,

Is it wrong to look forward to being pain free in heaven. I feel as if its morbid saying basically I hope I live long for my family sake but look forward to death to be pain free. I am not suicidal just would be nice to feel good again.

There must be something that can make the pain go away or at least alleviate it. I pray that God will lead you to it soon. In the mean time just bear with it and accept it with open arms. And no matter how difficult your situation is, there is always a bright side to it. I hope you find it.

Your pain has a purpose, your problems, struggles, heartaches, and hasssles cooperate towards one end- the glory of God. - max lucado

And one more thing, you might want to read the book waking the dead by john eldredge and wide awake by erwin raphael macmanus. These are the user's manual, the holy grail on how to get out of the zombie state. Just kidding...i hope it helps.

Tinkerbell,

I am actually reading one of John Eldredge books right now. Wild at Heart and I read his book Fathered by God awhile back. I will look for his other book and also check out Wide Awake. Thank you. I am hoping a change in Job will help me. I paint vehicles for a living. But I am trying to hang in their to get my wife threw school so she can do something she loves. Then I want to change my path and go to school. I am hoping this will lower the stress I put on my back everyday. And start swimming to help make it stronger. I think after the wreck it just kept getting hurt and grew weaker. And now its pinching nerves. Don't get me wrong though I do focus on living past the injury and living for God. Just it gets bad and I struggle with it.

I just prayed for you. Start thanking God everyday for your healing. You will see it manifest in the natural.

It is already done in the spirit realm.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. - Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)

It works! My own life is a testimony. God is good! Halleluyah! Thank you LORD GOD!

You can send me a private message if you need prayer or help of any sort.

God bless you!
