Well like what the title says... I am at a low point in my life... and I don't know what to do. I don't know what passage to turn to or what to even ask god. Can you pray for me? and give me a passage or two to read? I am really struggling with the concept of love and focus.

It would help if you could be specific, but in general, I have learned that life is harsh sometimes, and we don' get what we want and sometimes we get what we don't want. We must learn to embrace and endure the suffering we face with Jesus, always remembering that he is enough. This hurts at first because we want God plus, but in those moments is when you can really put God first.

I remember this verse: Philippians 3:8 "What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ" (NIV).

It takes time to get there, but you are in a good place to learn to appreciate life despite all things going wrong.
Blessings.

You have to ask yourself....What is love?......What is focus?.....The world often sets up standards, guidelines, and rules, to follow but that's not God's word. That's why we become burnt out, depressed, stressed, confused, and lazy.....(I just call it like I see it).....Its okay to feel that way but you have to question those thoughts and ask them where did they come from. I can tell you all day what to do or what to read but you have to figure it out yourself.....What do you want out of life?....What makes you happy?.......

I have already figured that out long ago. All I need to know is where to look. so the logic that you have set for this situation is backwards.

Trying forgiving yourself and letting your guilt go. I'm guessing that's what the problem is. Ask God for wisdom and guidance. Sorry, I'm not good with remembering verses on the spot, so I'll look up some for you, I'll pray for you too.

Psalms 51:10 - Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Isaiah 53:5 - But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

So ask God to forgive your sins, repent, and let your guilt go. I'm willing to bet your low isn't all that bad, so calm yourself and focus on the race.

And apply and reflect on God's word in all areas of your life.
