Hi everyone;I am a 18 year old female and I am super irritated because I seem to always be horny; I try to fight it but as most porn and masturbation addicts know;things can go well for so long then you suddenly have a relaps and go back to bad habits! I really want to change perminantly. So how can stop my problems with Lust? Any prayer would really be apprecaited. Also if possible I would really REALLY apprecaite some honest and God focused Christians to talk to on bbm.No sexual talk just people who want to get closer to God; I am currently on a gap year and have too much time on my hands (no pun intended) and really need God focused people around me.I am not a big socialite and don't ever go out so I basically don't really have friends. Please send me a message for my pin.Thank you in advance :)

Hey sister. Struggling with lust is a hard thing and i know how hard it can be because i struggle with it from time to time. It can be hard but nothing is impossible with God. Just know God will always love you and he is there to help you get out of your struggles. Ask the lord to deliver you from pornography and masturbation, and ask him to help you overcome lust as well. Also one thing you should do is say scriptures out loud and ALWAYS ask God for help when you feel the temptation coming. Never give up and keep on trusting the lord. You may fall from time to time but dont feel discouraged. Repent and keep going. You can be free from lust if you keep on looking to the lord. Ill pray for you, and if you want to talk you can send me a message. God Bless sis (also rebuke the spirit of lust in the name of Jesus Christ) his name is above every other name.

I recommend you listen to this 6 minute clip on chastity,
(takes about 20 seconds to get into that part because it's an excerpt from a book)

So you just announced to the entire internet (yes, not just this site) that you're horny and lonely, then ask people to chat with you off CC?
Either you're using the site to phish for sex chat or you don't get that you just told every horny guy on the internet to message you.

Bad idea...

Two lust crazed people of the opposite sex trying to pray through their lust issues?

It doesn't usually end well.

Maybe they get married. And then they can finally be satisfied within marriage under God.

Lord rebuke you Holly. Two Christians suffering from the temptation of the flesh joined together under God? More like a miracle.
Sex happens in marriage regardless, and according to the scriptures, it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

If you knew of the suffering you wouldn't be criticizing the given solution in the bible.

And don't give me "others are suffering worse" I have seen 2-3 posts already including mine mentioning suicide. That's serious, don't subject me to sharp sarcasm please.
Lord, please hear our suffering and bring us to life.

Because we all know a marriage whose foundation is sex always lasts, right?
I mean seriously? Rebuking someone for what she said? Because Christians who are struggling with a desire for sex should just run out and marry so they can hop in the sack. I mean, that's using wisdom, right? There''s no way they could make a bad choice that way.
I don't see that scripture saying 'go out and do something rash and stupid'.

And if you weren't so quick to make false rebukes you'd notice that Holly is single. And nearly every single i know struggles with this issue to one degree or another. So it's rather presumptuous of you to think she doesn't understand. Perhaps if you were less defensive, got more information and used a bit more wisdom you wouldn't be using scripture to encourage unwise choices and lashing out at people while hiding behind God to do it.

And I rebuke you for the same thing.
Lord rebuke you.
Read the hurtful sarcasm in your post.

I rebuked her for the senseless sarcasm. It hurt.
So you thought a 'rebuke' would be effective rather than just coming out and saying how you felt directly?
And i notice you managed to ignore everything else i said. I'm out of here.

I rebuke your need to rebuke everyone that says something you don't like.

I read what you wrote. I dismissed all of it. Sarcasm has no place in the love and truth of the Lord. Its hurtful, and its a blatent misuse of your word. You should know that. Let go.

That's a super idea. Get married for sex.
Isn't that why everyone gets married?

Well that and having someone to keep you warm at night. That sounds like it might be nice.

All joking aside though... getting married for sex is a terrible idea. It usually ends in divorce.
