I base the wrath on what is referred to as the wrath in The Bible, both of you base it on "bad things happening". That's the basis of our beliefs and arguments. There is no point in debating this further.

Have you given up on the promise of his return? Do you have this hope? Are you purifying yourself because of it? 1 Jn 3:3
I think its unwise to assume that because I do not believe in this next date the date setters have come up with for the rapture, that I have "given up" on Christs return. He will come whenever He sees fit, whenever the right time is. Gods time not ours, although if enough dates get set , I do suppose the old saying holds true: even a broken clock is right twice a day.

He can't teach me that it has reigned fire and blood and burned up a third of trees and ALL the green grass, a third of our oceans are currently blood red, A great star has fallen from heaven and poisoned a third of our waters, The lights sources in the sky have gone a third dark, Locusts with the power of scorpions have infested the earth from the bottemless pit, and Angels have slayed a third of humanity...
The first seal has not been opened yet. It cannot be opened until the bride is where she belongs (Re 4:4).
Maybe you're confusing real life with a movie you've seen.
Signs/birth pangs only tell you that the end is not yet (Mt 24:6). These are only the beginning of sorrows (Mt 24:8).
Good luck with the locust through.

I posted scripture to support all my opinions. Dismiss them as "movies" and keep your pre-trib rapture beliefs intact. Good luck as well.

The tribulation is God's tribulation, not man's or Satan's. As one proof of this, Jesus is the One who is opening the seals, which lead to the trumpets, followed by the bowls, which complete God's wrath (Rev.15:1)

The tribulation will be the fulfillment of that last seven years of the seventy sevens that were decreed upon Israel and Jerusalem. During that that same time, God is going to deal with the rest of the unbelieving world with the Rock (Jesus) falling on the feet of the state (human government) and smashing it to pieces without leaving a trace (the end of human government (Dan.2:31-45). And the Rock that false on the feet of the statue will become a huge mountain and will fill the entire earth, which is referring to the Lord's Millennial kingdom.

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
~ Revelation 11:15

The above is the process of the ownership of the earth reverting back from Satan to God and mankind.

"
The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. If you worship me, it will all be yours.”

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the garden, the title deed of the earth and everything in it went to Satan. The scripture above Rev.11:15 and Rev.12:10-12 are both rejoicing because the ownership of the earth is returning to God and mankind and Satan and his angels are being cast out.

I know of what I speak, as I have been studying Revelation and end-time events longer than you have been alive. Check the scriptures that I have provided. Below is the chronological order of events:

* You are here

* The Lord will appear and gather the church

* Seven year covenant made with Israel by the antichrist, which is the tribulation period.

* Seals, trumpets and bowl judgment will be in operation during the entire seven years

* Abomination set up in the middle of the seven years

* The beast/antichrist is given power to make war against the great tribulation saints for that 3 1/2 years

* Jesus returns to the earth to end the age, with the church following him riding on white horses

* The beast and the false prophet are captured and cast alive into the lake of fire

* Satan is bound in the Abyss during the Lord's thousand year reign

* The great tribulation saints are resurrected

* Millennial kingdom

* Satan let out of the Abyss at the end of the thousand years and rebels one last time

* The great white throne judgment of all the unrighteous dead takes place

* New heaven, new earth, new Jerusalem

* Eternity ..................................................................>

They are only misapplied scriptures. And the words "my opinion" would be correct.

Couldn't agree more with your analysis , just one thing that has been bothering me. The Antiochus Epiphanes thing, with him abolishing the daily sacrifice and standing in the holy place declaring himself to be god. How are we sure that this wasn't already fulfillment of scripture?

Alot of youtube preachers did, among others....NOT saying you did. And no, I have not given up on the promise of his return. I just don't like to put a date on it...

You are correct in that they are bad things, things that will come directly from God. You need to understand the difference between the common trials and tribulations that Jesus said all believers would have vs. God's coming, unprecedented wrath. Jesus is the One opening the seals and He therefore is responsible for the results.

Hello Wild,

That is a simple one to answer. Antiochus Epiphanes did indeed set up an abomination in the temple in around 168 BC. If you'll notice, In Matt.24:15, Jesus quotes Daniel 9:27 regarding the abomination being set up saying "when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet" which would mean that it was yet a future event. The event of Antiochus took place over 200 years before Jesus quoted Daniel regarding the abomination, which means that the one that takes place with the antichrist is yet future.

Never heard it explained so simply , using chronological methods. Thank you! All people keep telling me is its a "double fullfillment" .

And you are above having opinions, that is why I'm not interested in speaking with you any longer on the subject.
When it comes to scripture, I only deal in scriptural facts, not my own opinions. What I proclaim, I backup with scripture and expound on it. I have told you why the church must be removed before the wrath of God begins and what constitutes the wrath of God. The majority of book of Revelation is given to the day of the Lord, the wrath of God, which is listed in detail of the events of wrath that will take place during that seven year period, with Jesus returning to the earth to end the age shortly after the 7th bowl has been poured out.

I am not nor have ever been interested in protecting my own personal belief, but to contend for the truth and expose false teachings, which today the earth is inundated with.

The next event to take place will be the gathering of the church. Immediately following that will be the beginning of God's wrath with that seven year agreement made with Israel. And that is how it is going to go down.

You are very welcome. And God bless you for your desire for the truth. Regarding the event of Antiochus, I believe Dan.8:14 is referring to that event, which is what incited the Maccabean revolt and where Hanukkah came from.

What is the significance of Sept 23, 2017?
Sites online are saying something about a woman clothed by the sun and revelations?
Is it the next end time prophecy?
Last year in Sept was also supposed to be some big biblical event, yet nothing happened.
If you take your cues from random nutters on the internet you'll be chasing lies constantly.

last year, it was the entire east coast going to be wiped out

some people actually moved

a meteor was going to hit somewhere (forget where) and just cause general chaos, death and devastation

by the time the false prophets are done, few will be inclined to believe a real prophecy until the events occur :(

I noticed where you listed the resurrection of the great tribulation saints. Do you believe the souls of those saints are sleeping until that time? What do you think about the following scripture? I'd like your take on it.[h=1]Revelation 6:9-11New International Version (NIV)[/h]9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. 10 They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” 11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters,[a] were killed just as they had been.

Are you implying that the Two Witnesses are going to experience ( be on the "business end" of ) the Wrath of God?

The two witnesses experience man's wrath. Al Gore is happy when they die (Re 11:7).
