Let me address what you stated if I may.
#1...The Thief on the Cross...The Thief died on the Cross under the Old Testament not the New Testament, whereby Water Baptism was introduced to New Converts to Christianity. The
Thief died and was simply saved for his Faith of Jesus, by God manifested in a human body next to him..Jesus introduced us to Water Baptism in John Chapter 3 when he himself as our future example, was Baptized by John The Baptist. John's Baptism was for Repentance only. Jesus introduced us to The Holy Ghost being now in the final equation.

Musta!...I don't speak Tagolog fluently. My Wife however is a Native of Villahermosa, Samar. Waray-Waray Girl.

To address what you talked about, as I stated Water Baptism as part of the New Testament Salvation plan was not introduced to future Christian Converts until Acts Chapter Two. This was the very first time Water Baptism and receiving The Holy Ghost was introduced together to the potential converts.

Apostle Peter tells us We are Saved by not only Beleif, Grace, and Obedience to Christian Teachings by the appointed Apostles of Jesus, and Water Baptism is essential to be saved, as it Peter stated in I Peter 3 verse 20-21.

No it is not. To be saved, you need only have faith, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Savior. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus. If you believe in Jesus and know that he died for your sins, then you are saved.

So, you want to argue with what Apostle Peter stated in 1Peter 3 verse 20-21?

Peter was given the "Keys" by Jesus in Matthew 16. Jesus himself also told all of us in Mark 16 verse 16 "He that BELEIVES AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED......"

No,you do not need to be water baptized to be saved. That is false doctrine. The thief on the cross wasn't baptized but Jesus said he would be with Him in paradise.

Acts 16:30-31-30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household."

I suggest you read the verses that Kayla posted here. We need ONLY to believe in Jesus Christ, and we are saved. We are also saved by grace through faith. We are NOT under the old law anymore. You're assuming that we are. We're not. As long as the child is at an age to know Jesus and believe in him, then that child IS saved. As Kayla said, you're practicing a false doctrine.

Yes, we all should agree to follow his word 100%. So why don't we all agree to what Jesus told us all to do in this verse?
Mark 16 verse 16 " He that BELEIVES AND IS BAPTIZED SHALL BE SAVED....." AMEN!!

Because we are not under that law anymore, that's why. Baptism is NOT essential to being saved. Belief in Jesus is what saves us. That and confessing out loud that he is our Savior. Baptism is now just a ritual some people choose to do, along with being saved.. But it is NOT a requirement anymore because we are not under the old law anymore.

So, what you are basically saying is Jesus did not really mean for us to be Water Baptized as he commanded in Mark 16 verse 16,
OR When Apostle Peter at the First Christian Conversion Service said this in Acts 2 verse 38:
"REPENT, AND BE BAPTIZED, EVERYONE OF YOU IN THE NAME ( NOT THE TITLES OF FATHER, SON, HOLY GHOST) OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS, AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST.

And when Apostle Peter also explained how WATER Baptism also saves us, like Beleif and obedience to God's Word does as well ( I Peter 3 verse 20-21).

Or...when Peter COMMANDED Cornelius and his Family in Acts 10 verses 43-48 to be Water Baptized...and When The Ethiopian Eunich ask Apostle Philip that he beleived That Jesus was The Son of God, then Philip took him DOWN INTO THE WATER and Baptized Him.

And Apostle Paul when he met the Former Disciples of John The Baptist, to get Re Baptized in The Name of Jesus in Acts 19 1-7.

Sorry to say this; but anyone who teaches and beleives it is not necessary to be Water Baptized as part of The Salvation Plan, is simply not qualified to get on a Bible teaching site, and tell us they are Christian. You have deceived yourself..Thank You..

You fail to understand that we ARE NOT UNDER THE OLD LAW anymore. What YOU are presenting is a false doctrine, as Kayla said in her earlier reply. Water baptism is NOT necessary for being saved. Grace through faith saves us, water does not.

Hi AC106,

Napakaganda ng iyong hangarin ng puso nyo na maglingod sa Diyos. Alam ko namam ginawagan niyo ng paraan and God knows your heart so I believe along the way, God will make a way basta patuloy lan po kayo maglingkod sa Panginoon. Basta focus lan po kayo kay Lord and sa mga anak niyo and I do believe that there is no problem too big that God cannot solved it. Tapos sa question cguro about dedication, wait muna kayo.Let patience become a virtue.

God bless at if there are questions post lan po kayo d2.

Hindi na po kailangan ang water baptism sa kaligtasan. Si Kristo lamang po ang Tagapagligtas. If water saves, that will be another savior, e iisa lang po ang tunay na Saviour that is Christ. The great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13

Ung sabi sa Acts 2:38 na "for the remission of sins" ay ibig sabihin ng word "for" ay hindi para makamit kundi "dahil sa nakamit" in other words "because of".

Notice when we read What Peter was telling us in those two verses. In Verse 20, he speaks about how 8 people on the Ark were saved by water: Noah, His Wife, his 3 sons, and the 3 wives of the sons...Then in Verse 21, he explains likewise, "Baptism (in water) does now SAVE US"...Jesus, also stated this in Mark 16: verse 16.."HE THAT BELEIVES, AND IS BAPTIZED, SHALL BE SAVED........"

"Beleive on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved"...Very True!...However, you cannot just beleive in him, then not follow the exact teachings, he taught us through himself and his Apostles, sorry ofto does not work that Way.

Jesus told us in John 5 verse 39, To SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES"..The Apostles said or did exactly that..Paul..Acts 17 verse 2/also verse 11. Mark 1 verse 15.."beleive the Gospel"...not cherry pick what you like only, read and obey all of it.
Psalm 119 verses 27-28
"Make me understand the ways of thy precepts ( your word) so shall I talk of thy wonderful works. My soul melts, for heaviness: strengthen thou me ACCORDING TO THY WORD."
ETC, ETC.

Even in The Old Testament, people read scripture before a Bible was ever printed!

Read: Joshua 1 verse 8.
