To begin with, I became a Christian almost two years ago. I really grow to the old church that I used to attend to. In fact, I was baptized there, have a wonderful discipleship group. I'm always looking forward to Sundays, Wednesday (bible class) and Saturdays (discipleship group). Everything was well, but then, I transferred to a different location for good which means I left my church.
After changing places, I have a hard time looking for a new church, and since majority of churches around this area are Catholic. Then, I was invited to this Christian church by my old friend. I attended faithfully for two months, then I stop.
I was having issues with the their discipleship, and in pains me to say this but based on my observation they are becoming more of a social club and not a church. Like yeah, there are times we gather for Bible study but majority of the time are mostly dedicated with other stuffs like 'picture taking', chit chat....
I really don't know, I'm confused. Then there was this 'you name it, claim it' gospel that they keep on telling in the church. Is this biblical or not? because I have a feeling it is not....
