hello ate lydz...

God never sleeps nor slumber according to Psalms 121:4

indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

never put in your mind that God has left you or ignoring your prayers cause most of the time it us who tries to avoid Him and it us who lacks faith . . .

and as Christians we should not complain instead we should keep praying and thanking God on everything that happen to us may it good or bad and as the scripture says:

1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing.
1Th 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

on 1 Thes5:18, it doesn't say there that only in some things but in everything. Just think of it that there's a lesson behind your struggles.

just keep the faith Ate and if you need people to talk to just visit us here in CC

God bless,

God is never asleep or tired. He is awake 24/7, seven days a week, etc. The only time he took a rest was on the seventh day, but that was not to sleep or because he was tired, but because the creation was done. Anyway, God hears your prayers and when it comes to decision making we as humans can fail at it or we made the right decision but are getting a lot of flak and attacks from people and/or Satan. So God is not asleep or tired. God is not a genie in a bottle or lamp where you rub and he does what you command. God does not work that way. Pray to God about your struggles that He would be your peace despite them also get into the word to become stronger as a Christian. I recommend Psalms because David had similar feelings or thought process. Not that he said God was asleep or tired. Those are my two cents. God bless.

I think this section i highlighted is the key. We have free will from God to make our own choices. If YOU make a bad choice how can you blame God for this? These are your choices.

People often say God wasn't there, but is it that He wasn't there, or that He didn't answer the way you wanted or expected? Were you looking for some sudden end to your suffering? Some miracle that just makes it disappear? God works through people, and the world around us in general. God allows us to go through hard times because in those hard times is when we grow and stretch and learn. That's not to say He abandons us to our suffering. Just why He doesn't always make things magically disappear. And sometimes we fight against the things He brings us to help us.
For example, a girl came on the forums recently with a problem. She said she felt God had lead her here to get answers to her problem. She had a number of people all give her the same answer. It was obvious God had spoken to her. But she didn't like the answer, and rather than accept what God was telling her, she tried to get everyone to change their viewpoint to support what She wanted. So if she continues to ignore what God told her it will be her fault when she gets hurt. But who will she blame? Herself or God? Most people blame God when they make their own bad choices.
So maybe He was there and you just chose not to listen to Him?

hello ate Lydz,

God is not asleep or tired, I know how you feel when you made that question.... kahit ako nagtanong din, but there was one cousin that said to me, God wants to work on your life but He has to start on your self first and you must let him in and be the master of your life, not us. Just wait and you will see that God will truly work if you surrender everything to Him.
