Hi brother phil36, I'm from Indonesia. There's no Indonesia Christian Forum, so I jumped into this forum as I saw you posted the same thread to other forums.
Living as Christian in Indonesia, can be both hard and easy. Where I come from, there's tons of Muslims tried to attack Christians and as Christians, we have to be more careful with these attacks. Sometimes, I found it hard to introduce Jesus through my life, for example: how to respond silly questions from Muslim people. I was about to get angry when they said "It was not Jesus who died upon the cross, it was just the bad guy". Then, I tried to explain that to them shortly because sometimes I'm afraid I said wrong things to them and it got me angry.
I need advice about this please :(

I can't speak for the whole christian family since I have missed so many church fellowships due to work and family concerns. But generally, more and more churches are being started here in the country, with the trend of being small/house churches rather than big and formal churches, which actually is more effective in ministering to the needs of christians. This is because big and formal churches have the tendency to scare off the poor and less privileged (since there are a lot of poor FIlipinos who still need to hear and immerse in real Christian fellowships. We also keep hearing about churches splitting up, but God still uses such situations for the advancement of his kingdom, these split churches continue to grow and multiply. Thank you for the concern, God be continually praised!

Hi respect,

Sorry to hear about that. All you can do is explain the gospel the best way you can, just pray that the Lor will guide your steps. I think f you can get onto youtube there is a Christian apologist called Ravi Zacharias and he debates muslims..I think you will find may answers listening to him. Anyhow praying for you and brothes and sister in Indonesia and I am sure some here on cc will also.

God Bless, and may Jesus guard your steps.

Hey respekt,

I'm giving you some links to evidences for the crucifixion and the resurrection of Christ.

Most people won't listen when you give explanations or evidence, but some will listen, and it if you understand these things it will certainly help you in your own daily life.

Stay clear of them.
They are of that spiritual type that hates any outward sign.
Much as Jesus went no more to Jerusalem after John 7, because it was the seat of religious power and they continually tried to subvert Him at every step. So the religious do always crucify the Son afresh.
The only time Jesus returned to the seat of religious power of His people was when He was crucified. (Way after John 7)

Maybe ponder on this: as it is for all of us that believe
[h=3]Matthew 10:16-20[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]16 [/SUP]Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. [SUP]17 [/SUP]But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; [SUP]18 [/SUP]and ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. [SUP]19 [/SUP]But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. [SUP]20 [/SUP]For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

My biggest issue is not able to decipher my thoughts and explanations through words. Reading some intellectual comments on this site might help me better next time.

Amen to that brother. I'm thinking of reading my bible and digging more about Him. Thanks a lot.

Hello respect:

I hope you are still safe and well. In the system in which we live it is frustrating when we feel we my want to commit to someone about the Christian way. Just know you will be safe in doing so. It is different when one is face to face with someone than it is on a forum or some other site. God bless and stay safe.

when reading maybe go with this:
[h=3]Hebrews 8:10-13[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]10 [/SUP]For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: [SUP]11 [/SUP]and they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. [SUP]12 [/SUP]For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. [SUP]13 [/SUP]In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
