Thais are smart in advertising their life insurance. They achieved what they want by touching people's heart hehe and I love watching their videos. :D

But the second vid ate Tinkerbell, it made me teary especially on the handicap part. That spirit he has when he said no no I will never give up ahh such an inspiration! :'(
I watched their second vid with a caption (To help a Hardworking Needy person [Not Beggars who are Lazy and don't want to work and want easy money ) it's like someone hit me on my head when I read that haha, but they're right though. People like them are most likely the ones who would really value what you gave, because they know how hard it is to get it. Good sigh. :)

This vid is the orig and has a better quality

I was teary eyed too jangel...sometimes when I see a hardworking vendor I buy his stuff even if I dont need it so I can help him. This way you can really buy hapiness, not your own hapiness but someone elses. Who do you think is happier? The receiver or the cheerful giver? The joy you give is the joy that comes back to you multiplied. When we give we become God's channel of love...

Sister Tinkerbell725 In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of our Lord Jesus, that he himself said, "It is more blessed to give then to receive"( acts 20:35) I only wish he would have prayed with them afterward. verse 36! Thanks sister!

I don't really buy stuff if I don't need it, but I give even just a little when someone would ask or sometimes if I saw an older person sitting in a corner. But the thing is, I don't know anymore if what I did was right especially with those people who will come up to me and beg for money.

Before, I gave money to a healthy guy and has still fats on his body, lol. My classmate asked, did u give him money, can't you see he still can work? He will just use it for cigarettes. I feel bad cuz I never thought of that. All I saw was a dirty looking person, wearing like ragged, asking for money.

And then there's this woman carrying a baby with her. My classmates just ignored her until she came up to me and so I gave her something. And then someone told me... you gave her money, expect more to come. Just a few minutes after, an old woman came up to me and asked. My classmates were laughing and said, see? told you... I didn't give any to that woman anymore. My classmate said, he will never give money to those people cuz they can still work. He has a neighbor trying to raise her 4 kids alone, accepting laundries to wash and never beg and so that woman could do that too.

There are times I'd pass by on this area and saw kids laying on the ground with an empty can beside them. I'd put something on that, until someone told me to never do it again cuz a syndicate is using those kids for their own. If I give, better to give food. I do give food but most of the time I don't have food in my bag so I just give money.

There are those people also who will come up to you while you're eating, handing you this letter of donations for their choir, whatever stuff... There was this guy around his 50's came to me and handed me this prescription from a mental hospital. He said he needs to buy those meds for his son, so I gave him 100 pesos. I'm sure there are other people who gave him money so that would be enough. After giving him money, he's giving this sign with his forefinger. I was like... what? And then he said 100 more. Oh, that was irritating... I told him, seriously? instead of saying thank you, ur asking me to double it? Manong, do you want me to get my money back? And so he left, and I was the one who said thank you. :(

I didn't grow up where we have everything what we need. I grow up having a simple life, and there were times also where we can't afford to buy what we want, that's why I feel those people also. And my thoughts are just simple, If someone would ask and I have something to give, I will. If they are lying it would be their guilt, not mine anyway. But I feel like I'm one of those people who tolerate them to be lazy as well.

The video made me realize one thing though. He was asking if they believe in God, but I was wondering also who is the God they believe in, cuz we all know in India they believe in diff gods. If ever we have the opportunity to help, it's also a perfect opportunity for us Christians to share the gospel. I never did that. I never thought about that until I saw the video. But there's always a next time. :)

Very well said sister jangel...you have a big heart. Continue giving even when people fail to say thank you. We have to accept that no matter how giving we are, there are those who dont have a grateful heart. All they want to do is complain.

I don't really care if they say thank you or not, but of course the least thing that you would want to hear from someone after giving them something is asking more from you, haha hay naku! That just shows what the real motives are. So instead of feeling good because somehow I'm able to give a little, I ended up getting annoyed at myself. I feel I'm someone who easily get fooled, ( I feel uto-uto lng ang peg ko ate). And I don't want to be someone also who tolerate those kind of people cuz I'm not truly helping them then.

Oh well, I hate to admit it but I have more stories to add to that where I feel disappointed instead, hehe. Like those people you've known for a while already, I'm not disappointed I helped them, but I'm disappointed to know their attitude afterwards. But of course I feel blessed that I was able to somehow, and of course as long as I'm able to I'll continue to share what God has blessed me also. :)
