This is an old thread, and we need to let it die,
but I know that everyone who commented is genuinely concerned,
so I wanted to mention a few things.
Igypadin, the OP, said he has a serious meth addiction.
You'll also notice that he posted once, then vanished.
He never even came back ONE TIME to answer comments.
This is very typical with substance abuse.
A person struggling with addiction is usually unpredictable and irrational.
"Disappearing" is just what they do.
Also, substance abuse is not the kind of problem you can hide... not for long.
Usually people will end up in jail, in treatment, or dead.
All sin is "progressive", meaning it will get worse and worse without action to stop it.
But addiction gets worse and worse even faster than other problems.
(The progressive nature of sin is something we all have in common...
and thus is a type of common ground, a way for all of us to relate to someone else.
You've heard the expression that people get better with age, or get sweeter with age?
No they don't.
People get sweeter with age if they are "in Christ" and "growing in christ".
People left to themselves, without Christ, get worse and worse with age.
They may "appear" to mellow with age as hormone levels change with age and their bodies become tired...
but their hearts will become colder and colder without Christ.
This progressiveness of sin is something common to all of us... but with addiction it is just much faster)
Anyway, the OP is struggling with a serious problem,
a problem we can all relate to because of the progressive nature of sin.
He appeared here once, then immediately vanished,
because that is what people with addictions do.
He will not be able to hide this problem, and it will get worse until he ends up in jail,
in treatment, or dead.
So what's my point?
We we run across someone with an addiction problem,
we don't have long to help them.
All they really have is "right now".
They will probably disappear shortly,
and if they don't get into treatment, it's a future of death or jail.
So, when we run across this kind of problem, it's best if we try to make some kind of personal contact FAST (private message, skype, whatever... ) and then find out where they are, and try to get them into treatment. If we can get them to visit a local pastor quickly, that is someone who would probably know what they should do next, and where they should go. (Also, you don't need to give out your personal information to make personal contact... you DO need to consider your own security while doing this.)
Anyway, that is what I would do...
try to make personal contact very quickly,
recommend a SPECIFIC local pastor or church they can visit for help,
and then pray.
But whatever we do, it has to be done quickly.
God Bless,
Max
