Good day,

Hi, I am igy, pardon me if my english is not quite good. I just really needed someone to talk to about my problem, for this past year I have been hooked up by my friends and started using crystal meth. I want to stop this, I had tried quitting and honestly I had been praying, and seeking God's help. But still the temptation of using it gets stronger and stronger it seems that the devil is doing everything to make me use it again. What will I do. I cant tell this problem to my family even to my mom, because I do not want her to get hurt if she knows this. I really want to stop. What will I do.

Please help me :(

Thank you God bless us all.

hi igy..it's good that you acknowledge that you are in trouble coz some people who use that are often in denial..if you cant tell your mom, you can tell your pastor..they will help you pray..if you feel the urge of using it again call your mom..just talk to her til the urges pass away..or call your pastor or any friend for that matter..you will overcome it eventually..we are claiming it!!

hi iggy. i suggest you talk with your pastor about some rehab facility. as far as your mother ..... maybe you cant talk to her now, but when you go to rehab you should. this may surprise you but while she may not know the reason, i guarantee she knows that there is a lot wrong in your life. i think she would be happy to know that whatever it was, you are facing it and dealing with it. you will need her and a lot of others when you come out.

Hi Iggy. Try to redirect your attention to another one. Try doing this --> developing a sincere PERSONAL relationship with God by eating His Word and PRAYING earnestly. First off, just say Hi to Him.

Igy,You realize you have a problem and you wanna change it. That is the first step. That's really good. I'm gonna pray for you! I really suggest you pray. Go into a quiet room and Tell God everything. Let it all out ask Him to help you. Realize 2 things that you are a sinner and that Jesus Christ Died for YOUR SINS. Ask Jesus to be your savior and I promise you if you are sincere He will answer and you will be saved. Jesus said go to Him when you are weary and He will give you rest. He loves you and is eager to deliver you from this. Call on Him.

Hi! try public or social help to avoid that. At least you are seking help and I recommend you to keep on that. ask your family or real friends. See it as the problem it is, an addiction and ask GOD to lead you to the best possible place.

This is an old thread, and we need to let it die,
but I know that everyone who commented is genuinely concerned,
so I wanted to mention a few things.

Igypadin, the OP, said he has a serious meth addiction.
You'll also notice that he posted once, then vanished.
He never even came back ONE TIME to answer comments.

This is very typical with substance abuse.
A person struggling with addiction is usually unpredictable and irrational.
"Disappearing" is just what they do.

Also, substance abuse is not the kind of problem you can hide... not for long.
Usually people will end up in jail, in treatment, or dead.
All sin is "progressive", meaning it will get worse and worse without action to stop it.
But addiction gets worse and worse even faster than other problems.

(The progressive nature of sin is something we all have in common...
and thus is a type of common ground, a way for all of us to relate to someone else.
You've heard the expression that people get better with age, or get sweeter with age?
No they don't.
People get sweeter with age if they are "in Christ" and "growing in christ".
People left to themselves, without Christ, get worse and worse with age.
They may "appear" to mellow with age as hormone levels change with age and their bodies become tired...
but their hearts will become colder and colder without Christ.
This progressiveness of sin is something common to all of us... but with addiction it is just much faster)

Anyway, the OP is struggling with a serious problem,
a problem we can all relate to because of the progressive nature of sin.
He appeared here once, then immediately vanished,
because that is what people with addictions do.
He will not be able to hide this problem, and it will get worse until he ends up in jail,
in treatment, or dead.

So what's my point?
We we run across someone with an addiction problem,
we don't have long to help them.
All they really have is "right now".
They will probably disappear shortly,
and if they don't get into treatment, it's a future of death or jail.

So, when we run across this kind of problem, it's best if we try to make some kind of personal contact FAST (private message, skype, whatever... ) and then find out where they are, and try to get them into treatment. If we can get them to visit a local pastor quickly, that is someone who would probably know what they should do next, and where they should go. (Also, you don't need to give out your personal information to make personal contact... you DO need to consider your own security while doing this.)

Anyway, that is what I would do...
try to make personal contact very quickly,
recommend a SPECIFIC local pastor or church they can visit for help,
and then pray.

But whatever we do, it has to be done quickly.

God Bless,
Max

GOD Bless you, Maxwell. This post is spot on!

I am new to this particular forum and just found a video that I thought was something very-very neat.
It's a man from Israel that gave a small concert in the Philippines with an interpreter.
Just found this guy the other night also.
Good results from concert! :)

Amen again, Brother Maxwell. So very true!!
