Not,under the law ,and my loved ones are telling me this is not true,They live according to the law and tell me I have to or GODS WRATH is coming to me one day.I't is really bothering me inside.
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace
Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
Galatians 4:21 Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
Galatians 5:18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
Hebrews 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
1 Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ

[h=3]2 Peter 2:1-21[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

2 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. [SUP]2 [/SUP]And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. [SUP]3 [/SUP]And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. [SUP]4 [/SUP]For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; [SUP]5 [/SUP]and spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; [SUP]6 [/SUP]and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; [SUP]7 [/SUP]and delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: [SUP]8 [/SUP](for that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) [SUP]9 [/SUP]the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: [SUP]10 [/SUP]but chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. [SUP]11 [/SUP]Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. [SUP]12 [/SUP]But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; [SUP]13 [/SUP]and shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; [SUP]14 [/SUP]having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: [SUP]15 [/SUP]which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; [SUP]16 [/SUP]but was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. [SUP]18 [/SUP]For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. [SUP]19 [/SUP]While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. [SUP]20 [/SUP]For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. [SUP]21 [/SUP]For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

Flesh is under Law and flesh is weak even if the Spirit is willing.
Born again in the Spirit overtakes the flesh at one's free will for God to do this.
The only thing God never died for is unbelief
So we are either of flesh trying to obey Law or we are of God in God's Spirit Law is obeyed by God, we are safe and secure in Christ, delivered to Father as perfect.

Jeremiah 13:23Can an Ethiopian change his skin or a leopard its spots? Neither can you do good who are accustomed to doing evil.
And if one believes God, God does the change, in the Spirit of God by the resurrected Savior Jesus Christ. Is God going to get all the credit or not?

Genesis 4:6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
Genesis 4:7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

(AMP) Genesis 4:7: If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at your door; its desire is for you, but you must master it.

Cain had God right there with him telling him that he must rule over sin. Cain was upset about his offering not being accepted, and that was more important to him than obedience.

He could have asked God to help him to overcome, but he didn't. And we all know the end result.

James Goes into this too.

James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Some translations use the word, "desire," rather than "lust."

James 1:15 Your desire grows inside you until it results in sin. Then the sin grows bigger and bigger and finally ends in death. (ERV)
And thus we have the love of God shed abroad in our hearts as in:
[h=3]1 Corinthians 13:4-13[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; [SUP]5 [/SUP]does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; [SUP]6 [/SUP]does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; [SUP]7 [/SUP]bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. [SUP]9 [/SUP]For we know in part and we prophesy in part. [SUP]10 [/SUP]But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. [SUP]12 [/SUP]For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

The above type of Love is mainly used for guilt to us of the flesh this is truth, but of the born again Spirit from God it is manifested throughout our whole new being. Being led by God's Spirit as Christ was. HMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! could this be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mattithyah 7:20, "Therefore, by their fruits you will know them."

Shaul gives a quality explanation of "fruits."

Galations 5:18, "But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law."

Note: all you have to do is cahnge "are you not" to "you are not" and it changes the entire meaning. Logically I have to add, EVERYTHING that is listed under "the works of the flesh" is something that breaks one of Yahweh's Laws. EVERYTHING that is listed under "fruit of the Spirit" is Lawful to Yahweh's Law. This is simply a disclaimer on mistranslated bibles or forged texts.

Galations 5:18-26, "For if you are led by the Spirit, are you not under the Law? For the works of the flesh are obvious, which are these: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, licentiousness, Godworship sorcery, hatred, contentions, evil
jealousies, rage, selfish ambitions, dissensions; disagreements with quarreling, heresies; sects or factions of division, Envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I warn you beforehand, just as I did in times past, that those who practice such things will not einherit the Kingdom of Yahweh. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering; patience, kindness, righteousness, The Faith; Meekness; gentleness, humility, temperance; self-control--such things are not against any Law. And those who are the Messiah's have sacrificed the flesh; the carnal mind, with its passions and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become full of empty pride and ambition, not challenging nor defying one another, not being jealous of one another."

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Romans 8:6-8, "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; bitterly opposed to, Yahweh; for it his not subject to the Law of Yahweh, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please Yahweh."

Living,by the law, then subjects you judgement by the law. This is what,I tell those that are against me.I am seeing, the fault of this.I was never under law,and I never went according to it.They do,my family thinks it will save them.I can only pray they come to the truth.

The Law ALONE certainly can not save anyone, however it is very clear the Lawless will be rejected and will not enter the kingdom of Yahweh.

Silas42 thank, you for explaining as you did so as to insult me,I know,Christ died for my sins,I am going through some pain in my heart and was trying to get the advice and encouraging,of my fellow Christians, not to then judge me about my salvation.
If you feel I insulted you Letti, I can only apologise for that, it was not my intention, I was simply trying to encourage you, by agreeing we are not under law, and placing what I hoped were encouraging scriptures. Once again, I apologise if my efforts have upset you, I will endeavour not to respond to anymore of your posts, for fear I may unwittingly do the same again in the future

Hi Homewardbound,

Do you feel that the verses that you posted cancel out the other verses? I don't disagree with any of the passages that you shared.

I believe that every word is applicable.

When Jesus said that man shall not live on bread alone but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, He meant every word.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

Paul is talking to believers there. He said that he prays that their whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless.

Galatians 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

And if we sin?

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

So Christians of the early church had to consider these things. When that change?

You only have one righteousness for Heaven, faith in the Son of God who loves you and gave himself for you

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”[SUP][e

I was just wondering if you could spot one before you witness them devouring a sheep?

What Bible verses would help?

Matthew 7
[SUP]15 [/SUP]“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. [SUP]16 [/SUP]You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? [SUP]17 [/SUP]Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. [SUP]18 [/SUP]A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. [SUP]19 [/SUP]Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

what are the thorns should we see?

What are the thistles?

What kind of bad fruit?

What kind of good fruit?
Jesus asked us to be careful of "wolves in sheep's cloth", not wolves who are as they are. Aethists and other people who does not believe in God, is not what Jesus was talking abt. He was talking abt people who do things in the name of God, but inside they will be having something else. So that might be Christians only (mere christians)

Mt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

So they prophesies in the name of Jesus Christ, those who cast out devils and do wonderful things in the name of Jesus. They are not such people who says "Jesus is not the lord" or "there is no God".So we have to be careful with people who preach the Gospel, but are bad inside.

What God wants from us is to help others and show the love of God to the destitutes and the lost. That would be the good fruits. along with love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,Meekness, temperance: (Gal 5:22-23)

We will know the wolves in sheep's cloth with the money they made by taking God's name, the luxurious life they live, with their negligence toward poor and needy etc.

And so am I Sister for us all to see God's amazing Love never meant to take for granted rather to appreciate so much that we do not have time to not love all as God does, best described in 1 Coir 13:4-13 born again ot be able to have this type of love spread abroad through us all
