I have been taught that in the Bible God speaks to 3 groups of People: Jews, Gentiles, and The Church of God, sometimes speaking to more than one of these three groups at the same time. I know where I fit in here (Church of God) and I know that God starts speaking to The Church in Acts 2 ( The Day of Pentecost) til The rapture. So.....

[h=3]Acts 2[/h]King James Version (KJV)

2 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
[SUP]11 [/SUP]Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
[SUP]15 [/SUP]For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
[SUP]18 [/SUP]And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
[SUP]19 [/SUP]And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
[SUP]20 [/SUP]The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
[SUP]21 [/SUP]And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
[SUP]23 [/SUP]Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
[SUP]26 [/SUP]Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
[SUP]27 [/SUP]Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
[SUP]28 [/SUP]Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
[SUP]29 [/SUP]Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
[SUP]30 [/SUP]Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
[SUP]31 [/SUP]He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
[SUP]32 [/SUP]This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
[SUP]33 [/SUP]Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
[SUP]34 [/SUP]For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
[SUP]35 [/SUP]Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
[SUP]36 [/SUP]Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
[SUP]37 [/SUP]Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
[SUP]38 [/SUP]Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[SUP]39 [/SUP]For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
[SUP]40 [/SUP]And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
[SUP]41 [/SUP]Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
[SUP]42 [/SUP]And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
[SUP]43 [/SUP]And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
[SUP]44 [/SUP]And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
[SUP]45 [/SUP]And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
[SUP]46 [/SUP]And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
[SUP]47 [/SUP]Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

and in saying that I want to say this, The Holy Spirit speaks to me in many ways one of them being dreams, and giving me interpretation of that dream, now because of something that happened recently, I asked if anyone understood spiritual things and dreams, not because I wanted interpretation but rather advise (big mistake) because I was told that this scripture does not pertain to me but rather the Jews only. So I started thinking about all the dreams I have had to find something in common with them, and I did, it was this all of those dreams pertained to me or my situation ( never some fantastic new revelation that no one else has ever heard of) for my clarity on a situation I am dealing with or making the Word more clear to me on maybe an answer to a question I had asked the Holy Spirit or sometimes a warning, or sometimes guidance. so the mistake that I made was thinking the most recent dream that I had must surely apply to someone else that I had recently prayed for rather than my own life ( the dream was actually a reminder and a warning not to take that burden on, pray for that person yes, but not to go further than that).

If anyone can relate and wants to comment on this please do, and please be careful not to call me unGodly, because I do know when it is the Holy Spirit.

Now if the Holy Spirit does not speak to you in dreams, don't assume that He does not speak to me, because you cannot relate, sit back down in your perfect little box that you have created, and do not tell me to sit down in a little box that looks just like yours.

Well, you asked your question, answered your own question and then left no room for disagreement. So I guess my work here is done. Now go make me a sandwich.

I know it is so because I said it is so and I do not intend to be told anything to the contrary. Even God can't argue with that.

And don't forget the spicy brown mustard (with horseradish) on 'whole wheat bread'.

I'm certain that's what Ruth was getting ready to do when gleaning at Wheat Harvest. And as you know Pentecost is at Wheat Harvest.

Now go make me a sandwich.[/Q She really did not ask a question nor an answer, but for any comments. It is so sad to see your motivation on this site, in your own words, " no room left for disagreement" Personally I do not see this site only for disagreement ,although many obviously do, rather for bible disscusion. I do not know why you wrote your little snipit other than to JUST to be argumentative. I am sure in your vast knowledge you must know the scipture regarding sowing discord among the brothers and sisters. I mean this in love and hope you receive it as such. This is not for disagreement either so please just talk to the Lord.

I'm sorry but there is no way to discuss matters of this nature without creating offense. You wrote the post as if it is true and unimpeachable. There are many who do not support the concept of dreams and interpretation of dreams. I support reading and meditating upon the scriptures not flights of fancy into dreams that at best are highly speculative.

According to Joel 2 those who will dream dreams are of Israel and not Gentiles. Additionally this is not going to be of God until the rest of Joel 2 is fulfilled at the second advent of Christ.

So I cannot actually attempt to engage in a serious bible discussion on this matter without causing offense. Dreams are a new age concept and not biblical.

I'd like to offer an apology for my comments above.

I hadn't really been as specific as I should have been.

I forget to mention 'roast beef' sandwich slice on a deli slicer at right around a 2 cut.

Thank you.

Miss, sadly being someone who receives dreams and visions from God is a great honor but also a great burden. I have had more than my share of dreams and visions from him, although I myself can only understand some of my dreams and visions. People say receiving dreams and visions is a false teaching and a lie of the devil and yet the word says we will receive such things in the end days. If someone calls you ungodly just because they do not experience or know what you do then maybe they should do some in depth research on dreams and visions in the word of god. So basically God sends these things to those who are open and willing for him to use, which is not always the mature in Christ or rather ones who think they but the babes

You have GOT to be kidding, she starts out the post with , "I have been taught,' it's not like she's saying she's some apostle, or, anything, she's just saying WHAT she believes of Christ in her life, so, quit making her OP more than it is, it's HER opinion.

I'd like to offer an apology for my comments above.

You, too, pathetic response was your opening post, you'll apologize, I KNOW, because YOU have His Spirit in you, discipled, you are schooled by Him, you just ARE if you are His, and, you accepted Him and follow Him so you are and when you do things that upset another, you KNOW, He tells you, and, He has you OWN up to your mistakes. :)

Man, can you imagine how good that whole wheat bread must have been that Ruth made? Right around Pentecost she's out there gleaning wheat for the kitchen. I'd sure let her cover my feet on the summer threshing floor. All Kosher and deli fresh too. Now that's a Pentecost dream for you.

You should just admit your response here to missy was uncalled for, you should suck this comment right back into your throat and let God take the 'gag' away from you, that's how you should be discipled right now . :)

Get a clue. It's not up to me, it's up to Him, but YOU dreew a conclusion that was just bready, man, breathy, too, as in, a WHOLE lot of hot air.

She was saying HER opinion and your comment, if nothing else, was VERY rude, dude :(

@GreenNnice

You're sitting there acting as if I didn't intend to share the sandwich with her.

I'm trying to be Biblical in the spirit of Pentecost.

Haven't you ever read of the Great Pentecost Tradition of sharing your Whole Wheat Bread?

At mealtime Boaz said to her, "Come over here and have some wheat bread." -- Ruth 2:14

to the chase........................... wonka, wonka, wonka. LOL.

I HAVE pushed the 'report a post' button, now, you will not only be OWNED but you will be on the cc 'list.' :)

Not only now have you been owned, but, you have been discipled, as I put up with this kind of sarcasm and playless talk for 'this' long, obviously, LOL . I'm as playful to you as Jesus telling the moneychangers where to go, or, where not to go, and, how not to get there, on the sabbath .

Just admit you muffed up, bro, no biggee, admit it, you're salcious bread comments just further rap your rep on c.c. and this last comment takes the bread :)

I Love ya, bro, too, this is 'discipline,
the Lord leads, and, you may NOt see me 'in the Spirit,' sorry, if that's so, but I just see no need for your constant comments. ONE was enough, and, you just keep driveling more and more yeast into the mix. No longer , as you can tell, do I get a RISE out of your comments, and, make no mistake, the first comment was not a 'rise' comment in the least sense, it was 'yeast,' through and through :(

All this over one roast beef sandwich?

I can only imagine what would have happened if I had gotten chips involved.
