Family planing is not sin rather it is good to decide when and how many babies parent want. If we have a proper planning then we know when to purchase maternity and breastfeeding clothes, different baby product, also we can manage our schedule according to our planning.

Then, why other countries put a barrier on the number of children a family must have.

Every argument I've ever heard for family planning and birth control are rooted in the same selfish desires that people used to argue for abortion.

1) I'm not ready/don't want that child
2) I'm not financially secure
3) If I have more kids, I can't buy them all a plasma screen TV for their rooms so their life isn't worth living, gotta abort them

It's silly, really, the hypocrisy.
Jimmy, it is quite plain to see that you don't have any kids! :p

Family planing is certainly NOT a sin, just good commonsense!

Yahweh Shalom...

They're enacted to address 'overpopulation', but I think overpopulation is a myth.

The earth only has a finite amount of resources so you can think its a myth but that doesnt make it so...

I love how people can take one part of your statement and mock it, pulling it out of context. Well, I guess many do that with God's holy word so why should my thoughts or opinions be any different, seeing as God's Word is absolute and mine is just my opinion. :)

Yeah. God forgot that the earth has a finite amount of resources when He said "be fruitful and multiply".
I'm not surprised that this is coming from someone who believes it is okay to kill babies.

Hmm... Family planning is not a sin. Yes, there are countries that have one child policy especially in China. It's either they have it aborted or some opt to move out of the country to raise a big family.lol. There are a lot pure chinese who originally came from mainland china here in the Philippines and trust me they're big clans. There's nothing wrong with family planning because it is benificial for the couple and their children. What if they can't afford to raise a big family yet they still continue on producing babies? How do they intend to provide food, shelter and educatiom to their children? It also prevents unwanted pregnancies. It is very essential that couples are taught about family planning. It saddens my heart a lot of street children roaming around the city and asking for money and food yet their parents are busy producing babies. I belong to a big family and I'm so thankful to the Lord that He has truly blessed my family. There's no way my parents could afford to provide our basic needs without the help of our Almighty God.
Look at the many cultures in which women aren't seen as equal to men. They are confined to being baby factories while the husbands base their wives worth on how many babies they bear; how many boys they get; and how well they can cook. The idea that a woman is only there to ''be fruitful and multiply'' as pertaining to being a housewife and baby factory is NOT what God intended when he created Eve for a help meet. At some point some women who have several children keep running the risk of death (my mother being one because she miscarried 8 out of 12 babies and nearly bled to death every time). There's family planning to preserve financial luxury and there's family planning as responsible adults who recognize before God what is too much and potentially irresponsible living.

yes because tress and fodd and fossil fuels and water just randomly pops up when needed. There are no shortages of anything anywhere. No droughts or famines, just silly little myths...

Psalm 127:3 - 5 Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Don't listen to Nautilus, kids. Children are a blessing from God, and He will provide for your families, so long as you trust in Him. If Nautilus can't trust in God to provide, let him keep his family small so as to cope with the imagined shortages and droughts, and let those who trust in God have larger families. Either way, God wins, and if you listen to Him, you will be blessed.

that still ignores the fact that some people just dont want children...but then you tend to ignore logic or opinions that dont fit under your tin foil hat.

I personally don't believe in family planning. XP
i don't think God would give us more than we can handle...and if we don't think we can handle kids, i think God knows us better than we know ourselves.

No matter what, he knows our future.

and Nautilus,
Abortion is never an option. XD

this isn't an abortion thread, but the simple fact is the option does exist. And while I wouldn't use it or recommend it just because someone fooled around and got pregnant, I understand if a woman wanted to have one because of rape or incest, and I would have no problem using it if by some random chance it was the only option to save the mothers life.

Or better yet pray that your heart will repent from thinking it's OK to murder babies. Start there.

I understand that some people don't want children, Nautilus. I actually think the world would be a better place if unbelievers, and those who think God can't afford to provide for His people, would have less children, so there are more believing children to praise God for His abundant supply. :D

See? That opinion made it through the tin-foil. :D

I guess you missed my post from above: but the simple fact is the option does exist. And while I wouldn't use it or recommend it just because someone fooled around and got pregnant, I understand if a woman wanted to have one because of rape or incest, and I would have no problem using it if by some random chance it was the only option to save the mothers life.

Its not like im running around paying for women to kill their children or performing them myself. In fact I only support them in two narrow cases...so if that makes my an unreasonable baby murdering person then I guess I'll just have to deal with your extreme classifications on my own.

You realize even believers dont necessarily want children right? And go talk to people in third world countries who get to watch their own children starve to death about this abundant supply.
