I learned the truth must be taught but its to the individual to learn and not judge one another but to teach truth for it.cannot be hid but i believe sslvation is individual and the believers responsibility , sometimes people get the wrong idea about me to think.i am legalistic but its a diffefence in provlaiming truth and actual judging but it is christ our judge .

I love Halloween. It is such a great time to share the Gospel. 75+ families come to my door, and I get to greet them with a smile, some candy, and a Gospel tract. I don't care what Satan thought Oct 31st was for... Jesus wins.

why not? Dress up like Jonah and hand out Swedish Fish. God has all authority, and He can redeem any day, and any custom, for His purpose and His Glory.

unless your conscience does not allow you to do so. In that case, celebrating it would be a sin for you.

It's the one night each year where all the non believers are knocking on our doors, the perfect opportunity to give out tracts :)

Amazing Grace Baptist Church, Canton, North Carolina

Acts 19:19 Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all [men]: and they counted the price of them, and found [it] fifty thousand [pieces] of silver.

Acts 19:20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.
That's a little too Hitler-ish to me. I may be wrong, but, yeah.
KJV-onlyists, not Nazis--it's tradition.

American church to burn Bible . . . gives reason

A Baptist church in the USA has concluding plans to burn Bibles on Thursday, October 31.

Justifying the planned action, Pastor Marc Grizzard, of Amazing Grace Baptist Church in Canton, North Carolina, said that the first King James translation of the Bible is the only true declaration of God’s word, and that all others are “satanic”.

Pastor Grizzard and 14 other members of the church plan to burn copies of the other “perversions” of Scripture on Halloween, according to a report in Britain’s Telegraph.

“The New Revised Version Bible, the American Standard Version Bible, and even the New King James Version are all pronounced to be works of the Devil by Pastor Grizzard and his followers, the paper said.

It quoted Pastor Grizzard as saying: “I believe the King James version is God’s preserved, inspired, inerrant, infallible word of God… for English-speaking people. We are burning books that we believe to be Satanic.”

As well as inappropriate translations from the original Hebrew and Aramaic, the pastor and his associates will be burning books by various Christian authors, as well as music of every genre.

“[We will be burning] books by a lot of different authors who we consider heretics, such as Billy Graham, Rick Warren… the list goes on and on,” Pastor Grizzard told reporters.

Mother Teresa is also on the list of Satanic authors. The full list is available at the Amazing Grace Baptist Church’s website.

Not all Canton residents are thrilled with the bonfire of the profanities. Judy Kirby, a local, said: “I think some of the newer versions make it easier for people to understand.”

The book-burning is hoped to be a social event, with a barbecue laid on for attendees. It is not clear whether the meat will be grilled over the heat of burning Gospels.

They're not even burning books like those by Stephen King and Dean Koontz and that "gray" book, but Christian authors? Nice. This is why Christians look absolutely insane to people. I once got rid of all my dark fiction and I was going to burn them (yup) but then I just put them all in a trash bag. I was going to just throw them in the trash, but my stepfather took them to Goodwill.

Of course, we also have that church out there that believes they should protest everything in the world with public demonstrations, including military funerals and Disneyland.

My day was good. :) I was able to get my hair cut, finally. I had a BobaTea and I didn't get a single piece of candy from a stranger. Good times. How was your day?
Is Boba Tea Bad? - Ask Dr. Weil
The total calorie counts for the [Boba] teas depend on how much you’re served, but in general, these are high-calorie, high-fat drinks. I’ve seen counts as high as 440 calories for a 16-ounce tea, with more than 200 of those calories from fat.

The latest news about boba tea comes from Germany, where researchers at University Hospital, Aachen found that the tapioca pearls in the Boba tea beverages they tested contain traces of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) such as styrene, acetophenone and brominated compounds. These chemicals are known to have adverse health effects in humans and animals and are regarded as potential carcinogens. They were banned in the United States in 1979, but were widely used earlier as plasticizers in paints, plastics, rubber products and many other industrial applications. The compounds don't readily break down, so those used in the past are still being released into the environment.

In addition to the health risks associated with PCBs, in August, 2012, the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment warned that the tapioca pearls can pose a risk of choking in children under age four when sucked up through a straw.

We don’t know the exact origin of the tapioca pearls tested by the German researchers, who have said only that they came from Taiwan. To avoid the PCBs you could look for a recipe on line and try making your own pearls. Until we know more about the extent of contamination of tapioca pearls, it’s probably a good idea to cut back on consumption of these teas or to avoid them entirely.

Halloween started out a Christian holiday as All Saints day, where those alive honored those who stood fast in their faith to make a difference in the world they lived in. Hallowed be They name on Halloween as on any other day, Thank you Lord for you sacrificed and for those whom you indwelt to bring forth change in others. I pray Christians today can use Halloween, Easter, Christmas as a springboard and opportunity to share your love to others, Not to turn them off because of religious ideology.

I challenge you to put up "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near" sign at the front lawn comes next Halloween...
Too provoking? At least "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" please.
Then collect free eggs from your windows.

Is this how you witness to others, by screaming repent at them? I think befriending the unsaved, gaining their trust and then by sharing the faith within you is the best method.

Screaming? Who's screaming?
Luke 24:46-47 He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
James 4:4-6 You adulterous people,[SUP] [/SUP]don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

I don't sugarcoat the gospel if that's what you meant and I take it as a compliment.
What I mean is this, from what I gather you'd rather bash people over the head rather then show them the love of Christ.
