I hear tale that it is written that a man cannot serve two masters, he will either love one and hate the other or be of no service to either.

So if the Jews are the chosen people of God, then I guess it would disprove the truth that all men were created equal by their Creator.

Personally, I like the Constitution which gives me the Liberty to read my Bible.

Jews were chosen to receive and follow God's word...however, the only ones who truly followed God's word are now referred to as Trinitarian Christians.

So what is a Trinitarian Christian, someone that holds that there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 1 John 5:7

Orthodox Christians are Trinitarian....which encompasses the sum total of all scripture, OT & NT.

Yet another Americo-centric post.

I live in Canada, and I have the freedom to read my post. There are many others on here who live in a variety of countries who also have the freedom to read the Bible.

Obviously the Bible is Supreme, because it is a universal Word from God to ALL the peoples of the earth. The American constitution is for Americans only.

Please realize that this is an international forum and stop with these posts that are about the USA only.

Thanks!

While some might take offence upon reading to your comment to "stop with these posts" as if to tell someone what they can and what they can't say, which frankly doesn't seem to contradict the concept of free speech which is why I say you can say whatever you want, since some truths are just simply self-evident.

which says I'm free through the atonement of Christ...

Give unto Caesar what is Caesar's, give unto God what is God's.
-Matthew 22:21
Since Caesar was the Leader of the Roman Empire which had jurisdiction of the Temple [Government] of the former sovereign Nation of Israel, then technically Caesar was the LORD their God. The designation of a King or Ruler as a God was a common custom, and the it wasn't that long ago that Kings and Rulers which might not been considered a God, were still given the Divine Right of a God to do whatever they wanted without question. Today they hide behind the Corpus Municipalis, or the Incorporated Municipalities, which origin is from Rome. Many people think the Corporation originated from within the business world, but in reality it was created from within the Catholic Church back in the 1600's.

awesome, a talking Bible. If I recall correctly, man shall not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceedeth from the mouth of God. I wonder if that has something to do with the belief that many hold that the ability of man to read and write the written spoken word evolved over time. So if a snake can talk, then maybe he got his one of his dogs to jot down a few jittles.

Hitler led the world in answering this question. He said that government was supreme and church was permitted as long as they did not interfere in any way with government.

So who operates our world, government or God? Who created our world?

God gave government authority over us, but not the authority to change His rule. It has no authority to make abortion a law, or same sex marriage. That is in God's hands. They have no authority to outlaw Christians from speaking of their faith anywhere except within the walls of the church building for we are part of the people who are governed.

Act 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

But, now, without the Word of God, you wouldn't have the Constitution.......God's Word rules Supreme. God rules Supreme. Now, I certainly appreciate the blessing of living in a Nation where we have such a Constitution, but that Constitution IS NOT our salvation.

It's not an "either or" situation in true christianity. It says:

Give to ceaser what is caeser's and to God what is God's...(Mark 12:17, Matthew 22:21, Luke 20:25)

In other words: your religious doctrines should be separate from the state. The state does not encroach into your religious doctrine and vice-versa.

Does the Constitution have sayings of everlasting life?
