QUESTION: How do you explain this verse at John 14:28 when Jesus to his disciples: "I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to MY GOD and your GOD. If Jesus were part of some three-headed godship, why would he need to ascend or go back to heaven "TO HIMSELF" to his Father, If he was the Father; if he was already part of a three-headed God? Wouldn't the three socalled persons in one, be embodied in Jesus already? The simple pure Bible based truth is that: There is no such thing as a Trinity.

First off, God does not have three heads. That is a straw man argument the JW's use to explain away the trinity. It is not Christian doctrine and never has been Christian doctrine that the trinity is a three headed God. It is simply an absurdity the JW's use to argue no trinity exists.

Secondly, Jesus on this earth was fully man must of worshiped God the Father. So it is not a contradiction at all for Jesus to say the Father is His God.

Thirdly, the bible is clear that Jesus is also God. John 1:1 makes that clear. Now the JW's believe Jesus is a little god but Jehovah is the big God. This means two gods when the bible clearly states there is only one God and there are no others.

Think a little deeper.

Real love is getting people saved. What if you, personally, 'love on people,' but they never get saved? What good is your love then? Of course you will automatically be loving your enemy if you are trying to get them saved. On the other hand, if you think you have an enemy who is also a brother or sister in the Lord, then that is a different and even deeper issue.
