So what are you saying Homwardbound? Are you saying that you do not sin anymore???

Because if that is what you are saying, well then you are a liar.

I already told you that when a Christian sins, they need to confess their sin to their Heavenly Father and forsake those sins. The purpose of self examination and confession of present sins is for the Christian, the born again child of God to stay in proper fellowship with their Heavenly Father on this Earth.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. - 1 John 1:6-10 (King James Bible)

2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. - 1 John 2:1-2 (King James Bible)
When Christ went to the cross, how many sins did he take with him?
How many are left for you?
How soon is any sin made forgiven?
Did he go to the cross for the continuance of us to try to not sin as was in the first Testament, where they had to sacrifice a sinless, perfect animal, shed its blood once a year to get cleansed?
I mean what would be the difference, of old and new. I mean once a year they had to get forgiveness, and that could never be done except through the sacrificial system set up by God, and without blood there is no remission.

We are forgiven past tense from God the Father back at the cross of Christ. There is no more sacrifice and or shedding of blood. It is done finished washed up and over.

Do you think that anyone that sins; will nullify the Father's gift of life in his Spirit? If it does then it is not a gift. Even any works of self does the same takes away the gift. Gifts are not earned or kept by works, that is flesh period if works are added of self.

there are two sides of the cross a before and an after. Which side are you on.

confession is good, but not for anymore forgiveness.

I have not ever claimed to not have sinned or that I will not in the future, I do not know the future, but I do know what is present, and "I" presently choose to be dead to self, co-crucified with Christ at the cross at his death with Christ in the flesh. Thus alive to God the Father in the Spirit of God rejoicing, praising and thanking Father for this amazing gift.

Can Father be served in the flesh?
what today is the only way Father can be served, worshipped?

You believe the KJV to be the full truth, the only pure truth so help you God right?
Okay is this verse true below:
Colossians 1:22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

So by Christ are you presented to Father as Holy or not?
Can you improve on this, by trying to do better, one only gets worse at sin, or if not then pride sets in.
I want neither for I know this scripture below as well and what it means , do you?
Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

That is KJV and it says to just sow (think) on flesh guess what you reap sinful behavior and that reaps what?
You are so busy at trying to be righteous, you never will be, working in the energy of your own flesh when the Apostle Paul says:

[h=3]Philippians 3:1-11[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

3 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. [SUP]3 [/SUP]For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. [SUP]4 [/SUP]Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more: [SUP]5 [/SUP]circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; [SUP]6 [/SUP]concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless. [SUP]7 [/SUP]But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, [SUP]9 [/SUP]and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: [SUP]10 [/SUP]that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; [SUP]11 [/SUP]if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

I am seeing the doorway to Father through son are you it is through death to self and all self's righteous efforts, that can never be perfect. Starts at the death moves onto the resurrected Christ, given to you, and all that believe it is done by God the Father through the Son
I am a part of the fellowship of the unashamed, I will carry on daily in this trust, knowing God the Father love me and everyone else good or bad.
So sorry you are not seeing this yet, praying God shows you past the picket line of your own flesh deceiving you from crossing over
Love you deeper than you know, or why would God go to the death for us to give us new life in him, via the resurrected Christ where one can rest from their works as God has from his.

I just trust Father to keep me safe in Father, through Christ the Son, my redeemer that lived died and rose again to set me free to trust only through unto Father having a new life here and now in the Spirit not flesh. Daily learning this truth deeper and deeper as I each day die to self, being co-crucified with Christ at his death in order to see the new life in the Spirit
By Faith is one saved, no works of self could ever do this.
Christ the way, the truth and the new life in him found in the resurrected Christ in the Spirit, where no flesh can interfere.
God just Love you

...

What I am aware of Zone is that the Jews as a Nation rejected Jesus Christ and the offer of the Kingdom and that is what postponed and put off the Kingdom for a later time. That's why there is a Gap. And it is called the mystery of the Church. The One Body. Which consists of both Saved Jews and Saved Gentiles (Gal. 3:28 &Col. 3:11).

This is what you've been taught but there is no gap!
The Kingdom has never been postponed, or put off.
isn't that just about the oddest thing you've ever heard, ProphetExcalibur

"the Jews as a Nation rejected Jesus Christ and the offer of the Kingdom and that is what postponed and put off the Kingdom for a later time."

- the kingdom was postponed.
- because the jews as a nation rejected the offer.

question to ponder (not):

if they had 'accepted', would Jesus have had to be crucified anyway?
or no?

i guess God managed to secretly have somebody go back and rewrite what He had predicted in the Law & prophets.
He had a thorough-going change of plans.
i guess Psalm 22 was a revision?

or maybe he had TWO sets of books ready - just in case (?)

okay. preposterous.

You people who believe in a postponed kingdom ,have a foney boloney god. God "works all thing" after His eternal decreed plan, this plan never changes, and no plans of God can be changed by man. This is chazy talk, Like the Jews caught god with his pants down and shocked his socks off. This is sooo stupid. Lets get a reality check folks, who is running this earth? Hoffco

All that has happened is in God's eternal plan. The Old Testament has predicted every thing that has ever happen on this earth. The "gap" in Israel history has been exactly planned and the future ,( which is today) is happening just as the Bible, Old and New testaments, have planned. It is the Pre-tribers and the A-Mills, who will be caught with their pants down, Sorry, but you guys need to read your Bible a little more carefully. Hoffco

Well again; Acts is a transitional book. Acts 2:38 illustrates this truth.

And as the revelation progresses in the book of Acts, people begin to receive the Holy Ghost as they hear the word which Peter preaches (Acts 10:44, & Acts 11:15-18).

The conversion in Acts 2:38 came when the Jews and Proselytes repented and were baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

In Acts 10:40-45, we see salvation coming also to the Gentiles. Since Cornelius was a gentile.

Also the conversion in both Acts 10 and 11, came before water baptism. This therefore is proof of how the book of Acts is a transitional book.
so, the Acts of The Apostles, (really, the Acts of the Triune God) tells us about God's thorough-going change of plans, after the jews as a nation rejected the Kingdom, causing the kingdom to be CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE?

how can it be a transitional book?

according to your Wrongly Divide (and conquer) Dogma, Acts would be the inauguration of the Mystery Gap Church Age.
the jewish nation had already apparently rejected the Kingdom offer....meaning God had already pulled together the contingency Plan (B) Parenthesis Gap Mystery.

what were the jews who rejected the kingdom (preferring to double-down for a better deal?) doing, while the other poor jews (who got second best with the Mystery Gap Church) were busy being baptized for the remission of sins in Jesus' Name?

because i would want to see where Jesus said he had two sets of jews He was working with - the Church jews and the future kingdom jews.

which ones get to be with the Father on earth in the Temple? the ones who cancelled the kingdom?

oh well....the other jews who became christians will get to be with the Father's Son.
better than nothing i guess.

The Mystery of God and the mystery of salvation and the mystery of the Church are no mysterys to God; God has been workind on all three of those mysteries since the Garden with Adam and Eve. The New testament has made plan, (clear) these three mysteries , But most Christian are still in the dark on all three of them. Hoffco

We really should look at the whole New cov. and the new Testameny as transitional. The dropping of the nation of Israel to bring to light God hidden spiritual Church in the Old cov. and the transition from a highly defined ritualistic worship and salvation thru the blood of animals to the reality of the true way, the Blood of Jesus , which was the full plan ofGgod from all eternaiy. "The dropping of the nation of Israel"?

where does it say God "dropped the nation of Israel"?

doesn't it say He called forth a people from the nation, and the rest were cut off?

and doesn't it say the gentiles were grafted in, and that together they make up the Household of God?

didn't He tell us in the very first Book of His Word that this was always his Plan - when He made a promise to Abram?

Romans 9:27
Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: "Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved.

paul seemed to know what the plan was.

Luke 21
The Destruction of Jerusalem
21"Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city; 22because these are days of vengeance, so that all things which are written will be fulfilled. 23"Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land and wrath to this people....
When those things that are previously spoken of are happening: because these are days of vengeance, so that all things which are written will be fulfilled.
He was talking about this:

Daniel 9
24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Luke 19
41And when he drew near and saw the city, he wept over it, 42saying, “Would that you, even you, had known on this day the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. 43For the days will come upon you, when your enemies will set up a barricade around you and surround you and hem you in on every side 44and tear you down to the ground, you and your children within you. And they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”
He is talking about what is written in Revelation 6 - the opening of the six seals; false Christs, wars, famines, pestilence, earthquakes, persecution unto death. "for there will be great distress upon the land and wrath to this people" - Rev. 6:17 - For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Here is just one ,of many, verses, that blow your theory out of the water, Jesus promised the 12 aposles that they will rule over the 12 tribes of Israel in the "Regeneration" and then in Acts Jesus told them ,"it is not for you to know the times and seasons" of God's plans for Israel. And in Romans Paul assures us that there is a future for the "fullness" of Israel. and so many Old. T, passages ,you just twist and change the clear meaning of "the Lion will lie down with the ox" etc. Hoffco

hi peaceful...let's start by looking at this part of that chapter.
please tell me if He is speaking to ANYONE who is not actually standing there listening to Him.

Luke 21
The Widow’s Offering

1Jesusa looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, 2and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins.b 3And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. 4For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”

.... no, so far He is speaking to the people there at the temple...right?

Jesus Foretells Destruction of the Temple
5And while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said, 6“As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” 7And they asked him, “Teacher, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?” 8And he said, “See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them. 9And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once.”

..... so, there are people there, they're talking about the temple. the one Jesus was walking around in. they were saying how beautiful it was.

and what did He say?

"As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”

so, He is still speaking to the people right there with Him, and He still speaking about the temple they were looking at.
right?

they asked, when will the temple be torn down, Teacher?
He explained that certain things would happen first:

- "See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them." < false prophets, false messiahs.

He told the very people right there who asked those questions, that they (them) should not be led astray.
they would encounter false prophets, false messiahs....right?

He is still talking to the people standing there asking Him questions (especially about when the temple would be destroyed - right?).

- "And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place"

so, Jesus is standing there with these people, "And while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said......"...all those things would preceed that destruction....right?

of that very temple. then He said"

- but the end will not be at once.”

the end of what?

“As for these things that you see (the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings), the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”"

so...is He talking about 70AD?

Jesus Foretells Wars and Persecution
10Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven. 12But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name’s sake. 13This will be your opportunity to bear witness. 14Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer, 15for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict. 16You will be delivered up even by parents and brothersc and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death. 17You will be hated by all for my name’s sake. 18But not a hair of your head will perish. 19By your endurance you will gain your lives.

- well, we know the disciples and apostles endured all that:

"But before all this they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name’s sake."

right?

He said these things would follow their persecutions and trials.
but He is still talking to THEM:

10Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences. And there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.

- there's been so much posted from Josephus concerning that period; and history shows the Roman Empire was in great upheaval, wars between the Romans and surrounding nations, and the Jews were at war with the Romans...right?

- we know there were famines...and disease.
we also know, if we believe Josephus, and even the Talmud (which one would think would cover up those things, not confirm them) that there were great signs and terrors after the killing and Ascension of Jesus and the killing of His servants.

Jesus Himself warned that generation about the very thing...we don't think He was saying this to people in 2013, do we?:

(here's come context) - still in Jerusalem:

Mark 11
The Authority of Jesus Challenged

27And they came again to Jerusalem. And as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders came to him, 28and they said to him, “By what authority are you doing these things, or who gave you this authority to do them?” 29Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question; answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. 30Was the baptism of John from heaven or from man? Answer me.” 31And they discussed it with one another, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’ 32But shall we say, ‘From man’?”—they were afraid of the people, for they all held that John really was a prophet. 33So they answered Jesus, “We do not know.” And Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

Mark 12
The Parable of the Tenants

1And he began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard and put a fence around it and dug a pit for the winepress and built a tower, and leased it to tenants and went into another country. 2When the season came, he sent a servanta to the tenants to get from them some of the fruit of the vineyard. 3And they took him and beat him and sent him away empty-handed. 4Again he sent to them another servant, and they struck him on the head and treated him shamefully. 5And he sent another, and him they killed. And so with many others: some they beat, and some they killed. 6He had still one other, a beloved son. Finally he sent him to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ 7But those tenants said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ 8And they took him and killed him and threw him out of the vineyard. 9What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants and give the vineyard to others. 10Have you not read this Scripture:

“‘The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone;b
11 this was the Lord’s doing,
and it is marvelous in our eyes’?”

12And they were seeking to arrest him but feared the people, for they perceived that he had told the parable against them. So they left him and went away.

- okay....so He is speaking to the chief priests and the scribes and the elders....this sets the TIME.
He is saying that the time had come for FRUIT (see John the Baptist's message).

but what happened?
they killed the Heir, right? JESUS.

and Jesus said:

"What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants and give the vineyard to others".

- did that happen in the past?:

Luke 21
Jesus Foretells Destruction of Jerusalem
20“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation has come near. 21Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are inside the city depart, and let not those who are out in the country enter it, 22for these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written. 23Alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! For there will be great distress upon the earth and wrath against this people. 24They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

wrath against WHAT PEOPLE? "those tenants said to one another, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’"

what days of vengeance?

He already told us:

He will come and destroy the tenants and give the vineyard to others.

can we say, so far, with reasonable certainty that Jesus was speaking to and about 1st century Judea (Jerusalem)?

i won't take offense at this Hoff.

God has spoken. you just don't understand what He said.

was the kingdom postponed?
if not what is the Millennium FOR?

i'm not really interested in a ton of emotional rhetoric.
just show me what it's for using God's WORD.
are we going to build a temple for Jesus to sit in?
is He going to sit on David's throne? where IS David's throne?
are we going to sacrifice animals or holographic lambies?

what's it FOR, man?

SHOW ME.

"As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”

so, He is still speaking to the people right there with Him, and He still speaking about the temple they were looking at.
right?
"for the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."
Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple - v3) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
Mark 13:2 - Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled.

Destruction of not only the temple but of Jerusalem.

they asked, when will the temple be torn down, Teacher?

"the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world" - Matthew 24:3

Jesus Himself warned that generation about the very thing...we don't think He was saying this to people in 2013, do we?:
scripture is written for our learning - I believe this is warning us also.

"and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world" - false Christs, wars and rumours of wars, famines, pestilence, earthquakes, persecution - all these shall intesify
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matt. 24:27
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Mark 13:26
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. Luke 21:27,28

Christ the beloved son was killed - we have seen the suffering of Christ but not his vengeance and wrath. The owner of the vineyard has not returned to destroy.
can we say, so far, with reasonable certainty that Jesus was speaking to and about 1st century Judea (Jerusalem)?
Whether or not who he is speaking directly to - scripture is written for our learning.
Mark 13:24-26 But in those days after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Matthew 24:29,30 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
If the other has occurred then the above should have occurred also - has it?

Jesus foretold these things (Mark 13:23) to the disciples but it is written for our learning. We are to "take heed, watch and pray for we know not when the time is" (Mark 13:33); we are to watch and be ready for we know not what hour our Lord will come (Matt. 24:42,44); we are to take heed to ourselves (Luke 21:34) and again, we are to "watch and pray always" that we "may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man" (Luke 21:36).

Please, My sisters, allow me, your Elder brother to speak; Thank you. To peaceful, I have to side with Zone on Lk.21:20-24, it is the destrucion of the temple and the city,Jer., during 70AD.. But, to Zone , you fail to see the gap of about 2,ooo yrs, at 21:v25.(then 25-32) is the End Times ,(man of sin ,rapture, wrath of God, 2nd. coming of Christ.) to Peasceful, I see the seals of Rev. 6:1-11 as the history of the world and The Church age of 2,000 yrs.. but the 6th seal is the rapture of the Church. Israel did not see their "time of visitation" so God had a PLANNED "postponement" of their earthly kingdom. but it is PLANNED, in Daniel and Rev. and in many other passages, for the end of this age. In Mt.28:20 the"end of the world" is better translated as "the end of the age". Hoffco

Dispensationalism is the Biblical System and format of Sound Bible Study.

God still has a plan and a future for Israel. Read Romans 11.

That is incorrect Excalibur. The Seventieth Week of Daniel's Prophecy has not happened yet. Compare Scripture with Scripture. Again, the man of sin has not shown up yet. The antichrist will confirm the covenant with the Jews to restore their temple sacrifices for one week (7 years), and in the middle of that time period, he will break the covenant, thus fulfilling Dan. 12:11 and 2 Thess. 2:3-4.

There is Scripture to show that the Church Age, the Mystery of the One Body is the Gap that we are now in. That's why its called the mystery. Read Romans 11:25.

There are still plenty of prophecies left to be fulfilled. Especially prophecies concerning the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and also the Millennial Kingdom
Sorry Chosen, that you have chosen a sinking ship!
There is no greater deception in the history of the Church, that Dispensationalism!

This is basically what the unfaithful of Old Covenant Israel said right before they were destroyed!
'God is coming to save us and He is going to destroy all the rest of you' Correct?

This is what Dispensationalism basically proclaims, and prophecies; in any of its own scenarios!
'God is coming to save us and He is going to destroy all the rest of you' Good luck!

It is the SAME EXACT THING, that destroyed the Church in the wilderness, wake up before your ship goes under!
many blessings
