So I picked a song that was popular in 1990 when you were about 20 and at a time when you had not met Christ (BC) and at a time of George Harrison's last hit. A season. A time to be born and a time to die. Ecclesiastes 2: 1-11 talks about there being pleasure in mirth and vanity and wine and then understanding the changing or restlessness of the spirit leaving us eager for an unsatisfied want of deeper knowledge. Then `12-17 shows Solomon understanding that knowledge and prudence were preferable to ignorance and folly. Though even knowledge and wisdom leave us wanting for more.
The fill for this is Christ so that we want no more. It kind of reminds me of your testimony that I've read bits and pieces of in here.

This song makes me think of...well, all my Christian sisters here. I don't know about the rest of you ladies, but I often feel that I am held to certain (very high) standards, and I'm expected to slap a smile on my face and praise God through it all, never showing any weakness. It's bad enough that others can be very hard on us...but we're often our own worst critics. I think it's good to realize and admit when it all gets to be too much.

That's... really well executed.
Progressive rock and progressive metal come very close to one another, so I'd say that could have gone in the metal thread (especially with how well they played those guitars).

Death metal keeps you warm! This one doesn't have as many of the overt Christian overtones as some of their stuff does, but it's darn good.
