[h=3]Leviticus 11[/h]New International Version (NIV)

[h=3]Clean and Unclean Food[/h]11 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, [SUP]2 [/SUP]“Say to the Israelites: ‘Of all the animals that live on land, these are the ones you may eat: [SUP]3 [/SUP]You may eat any animal that has a divided hoof and that chews the cud.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]“‘There are some that only chew the cud or only have a divided hoof, but you must not eat them. The camel, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is ceremonially unclean for you. [SUP]5 [/SUP]The hyrax, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is unclean for you. [SUP]6 [/SUP]The rabbit, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is unclean for you. [SUP]7 [/SUP]And the pig, though it has a divided hoof, does not chew the cud; it is unclean for you. [SUP]8 [/SUP]You must not eat their meat or touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]“‘Of all the creatures living in the water of the seas and the streams you may eat any that have fins and scales. [SUP]10 [/SUP]But all creatures in the seas or streams that do not have fins and scales—whether among all the swarming things or among all the other living creatures in the water—you are to regard as unclean. [SUP]11 [/SUP]And since you are to regard them as unclean, you must not eat their meat; you must regard their carcasses as unclean. [SUP]12 [/SUP]Anything living in the water that does not have fins and scales is to be regarded as unclean by you.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]“‘These are the birds you are to regard as unclean and not eat because they are unclean: the eagle,[SUP][a][/SUP] the vulture, the black vulture, [SUP]14 [/SUP]the red kite, any kind of black kite, [SUP]15 [/SUP]any kind of raven, [SUP]16 [/SUP]the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk, [SUP]17 [/SUP]the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl, [SUP]18 [/SUP]the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey, [SUP]19 [/SUP]the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe and the bat.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]“‘All flying insects that walk on all fours are to be regarded as unclean by you. [SUP]21 [/SUP]There are, however, some flying insects that walk on all fours that you may eat: those that have jointed legs for hopping on the ground. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Of these you may eat any kind of locust, katydid, cricket or grasshopper. [SUP]23 [/SUP]But all other flying insects that have four legs you are to regard as unclean.
[SUP]24 [/SUP]“‘You will make yourselves unclean by these; whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean till evening. [SUP]25 [/SUP]Whoever picks up one of their carcasses must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening.
[SUP]26 [/SUP]“‘Every animal that does not have a divided hoof or that does not chew the cud is unclean for you; whoever touches the carcass of any of them will be unclean. [SUP]27 [/SUP]Of all the animals that walk on all fours, those that walk on their paws are unclean for you; whoever touches their carcasses will be unclean till evening. [SUP]28 [/SUP]Anyone who picks up their carcasses must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening. These animals are unclean for you.

[SUP]29 [/SUP]“‘Of the animals that move along the ground, these are unclean for you: the weasel, the rat, any kind of great lizard, [SUP]30 [/SUP]the gecko, the monitor lizard, the wall lizard, the skink and the chameleon. [SUP]31 [/SUP]Of all those that move along the ground, these are unclean for you. Whoever touches them when they are dead will be unclean till evening. [SUP]32 [/SUP]When one of them dies and falls on something, that article, whatever its use, will be unclean, whether it is made of wood, cloth, hide or sackcloth. Put it in water; it will be unclean till evening, and then it will be clean. [SUP]33 [/SUP]If one of them falls into a clay pot, everything in it will be unclean, and you must break the pot. [SUP]34 [/SUP]Any food you are allowed to eat that has come into contact with water from any such pot is unclean, and any liquid that is drunk from such a pot is unclean. [SUP]35 [/SUP]Anything that one of their carcasses falls on becomes unclean; an oven or cooking pot must be broken up. They are unclean, and you are to regard them as unclean. [SUP]36 [/SUP]A spring, however, or a cistern for collecting water remains clean, but anyone who touches one of these carcasses is unclean. [SUP]37 [/SUP]If a carcass falls on any seeds that are to be planted, they remain clean. [SUP]38 [/SUP]But if water has been put on the seed and a carcass falls on it, it is unclean for you.
[SUP]39 [/SUP]“‘If an animal that you are allowed to eat dies, anyone who touches its carcass will be unclean till evening. [SUP]40 [/SUP]Anyone who eats some of its carcass must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening. Anyone who picks up the carcass must wash their clothes, and they will be unclean till evening.
[SUP]41 [/SUP]“‘Every creature that moves along the ground is to be regarded as unclean; it is not to be eaten. [SUP]42 [/SUP]You are not to eat any creature that moves along the ground, whether it moves on its belly or walks on all fours or on many feet; it is unclean. [SUP]43 [/SUP]Do not defile yourselves by any of these creatures. Do not make yourselves unclean by means of them or be made unclean by them. [SUP]44 [/SUP]I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves along the ground. [SUP]45 [/SUP]I am the Lord, who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.
[SUP]46 [/SUP]“‘These are the regulations concerning animals, birds, every living thing that moves about in the water and every creature that moves along the ground. [SUP]47 [/SUP]You must distinguish between the unclean and the clean, between living creatures that may be eaten and those that may not be eaten.’”

I stopped because my response was ONLY to the post where you claimed God 'is a vegetarian.'
You may be 'at the beginning of creation,' but things have changed since then: foodlaws don't apply to christians.

when we read the book of Isaiah, we see we will be vegetarians in the Kingdom. So the way i see it is as it was in the beginning, so shall it be in the Kingdom. i'm here in the middle doing what was in the beginning, and how it will be in the Kingdom.

Isa 65:1 "I was sought by those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. I said, 'Here I am, here I am,' To a nation that was not called by My name.
Isa 65:2 I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in a way that is not good, According to their own thoughts;
Isa 65:3 A people who provoke Me to anger continually to My face; Who sacrifice in gardens, And burn incense on altars of brick;
Isa 65:4 Who sit among the graves, And spend the night in the tombs; Who eat swine's flesh, And the broth of abominable things is in their vessels;

Guess He changed His mind again?

Interesting Christ says "think not" and most think He did. He says "keep the Commandments" and most say the Commandments no longer apply. He inspires it to be written not to eat blood and most say "Ummm, delicious".

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12, "And with all deceivableness of sin in those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason, Yahweh will send them strong delusion, that they would believe the deception, In order that all those may be judged as not having believed the truth, but as having delighted in sin."

Matt 15 and Mark 7 were about a Pharisee hand washing ritual, and the words, "thus Jesus declared all foods clean" are not a part of the original Greek.

Mattithyah 15:20, "These are the things which defile a man--but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."

Mark 7:3, "Now the Pharisees, and the Yahdaim generally, never eat without washing their hands, holding the tradition of the elders." 8-9, "For laying aside the Law of Yahweh, you hold the tradition of men! 9 Then He said to them: How well you reject the Law of Yahweh, so that you may keep your own tradition!"

The other day I was with a pastor he orders a steak cooked medium rare or rare... So yea it was blood still on it. He said to me do you know it's ok to eat food with blood in it..

I disagree.. I like my steak medium well anyway lol

Anybody know where the bibles speaks on this? Or the verses.
I don't think how well it's cooked is the issue. I believe the Israelites were allowed to eat raw meat if they wished. The Passover was not to be eaten raw. Maybe without the command, that would have been considered a possibility. The issue is whether the animal has been drained of it's blood, it's lifeblood. One theory I read was that this was artery blood. The animal is to be slaughtered to let the blood out.

Orthodox Jews also take a piece of meat, salt it, and put it in warm water to get the blood out, or else broil it after it has been specially slaughtered by an expert in slaughtering meet according to some extensive Jewish traditions.

The one epistle in the Bible that was co-authored by most of the 12 apostles, including Andrew, Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and those guys we hear little about, tells Gentiles to abstain from blood. It was consistent with the command God gave when He gave man meat to eat. Gentiles are descendants of Noah. The Jews had similar reasoning maybe a few decades later as recorded in the Mishneh.

But Paul says no blood?

So most here that know me, know I stand by Yahweh's Law, but I get told that Yahweh;s Law is old and done away, and that we are under "NT" Law.

So why no mention of Paul's law?

Acts 15:28-29, "For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these essentials: that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication; if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell."

I get told repeatedly that this is the only important Laws, the "NT" Laws, now nobody follows these either?

What is going on?

That pastor is wrong. The command to abstain from blood is Trans-Dispensational. It crosses over the Dispensations. Therefore it is also in effect today:

Acts 15:18-29 KJV
Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world. [19] Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: [20] But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. [21] For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day. [22] Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely , Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren: [23] And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: [24] Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: [25] It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, [26] Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. [27] We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. [28] For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; [29] That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

This is the kinda stuff we used to eat when I was a kid: bloodwurst. I come from a big family so we surely couldn't have steak for dinner every day. I rarely became sick though and grew up to become a healthy, fit 6'3'' dutchman. :)

and any rare meat

Where in Isaiah? I'm curious. Because I think God would provide meat without the killing of any animals, if we were to have it on the New Heaven and the New Earth.

some people eat blood pudding, or at least they use too, I believe when they slaughter cattle they drain the blood from the animal, there is some blood that remains obviously but I believe most is drained out. However I truly have no idea never have slaughtered a steer myself.
