Exactly. Sin is sin is sin is sin is sin. And we've all done it and must repent.
True "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" [Rom 3:23].

But unlike some of the "gay christians" here,
you don't see me going on and on about MY particular sin.
I just pray, repent and try to sin no more.

But do you say anything to the "Christian" guy that boasts about his latest conquest with the women? How about the "Christian" young adults that boasts about tying one on over the weekend? How about those "Christian" women gossiping and laughing about in the middle of the break room or at church? How about the "Christian" that boats about LYING on his income taxes? Do you say any thing or are all those passed off as being OK? If one doesn't use the same standard it makes one a hypocrite.

Is sin wrong?
(This is the same question.)
Any sin, committed caused death period and Christ came to take care of that to start a relationship, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us in our stead, why? And sin is sin no matter how big or small.
And if anyone has quit sinning the:
2 Corinthians 10:5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
2 Corinthians 10:6 and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Christ's obedience was and is full, and Christ showed Mercy, do we who have received Mercy show it?

Hey to all, I just love you as God has shown me, that God just love you, start right there and you decide what is good for you or not, that is the journey I have been on with a loving god full of Mercy translated to me and so now I translate that to all equally

Since I got saved I have lost plenty of "friends" because I do speak out,
but also made new ones for the same reason.

But then why on CC when you post about sins most of them are on homosexuality and VERY few on other sins?

Clearly you haven't read all of my posts.
Remember there are more threads on the sin of homosexuality here than on any other sin. So If I respond to threads in general, I'm bound to post more about THAT particular sin.

I failed and God gave me Mercy, so in response I give this to all as he has given this to me. I have no right to ever condemn or come across as I am condemning since God through Son took in all my sin away at the cross

Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance

Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
[h=3]Luke 18:9-14[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]9 [/SUP]And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: [SUP]10 [/SUP]Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. [SUP]11 [/SUP]The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. [SUP]12 [/SUP]I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. [SUP]13 [/SUP]And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner. [SUP]14 [/SUP]I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

You forget people can look up the threads that you do post on. Plus one can do a search for thread titles and themes. Homosexuality IS NOT the # 1 sin in the number of threads, when people talk about a particular sin. Drugs and alcohol HAVE MORE. Adultery has almost as many. Stealing has more. Etc etc.

It is not hard to go back and look at the threads you have posted in. Rough count it appears to be about 15 or more to 1 that you posted about homosexuality then any other sin. I did NOT say you didn't post on any other sin, again what I said was that most of your posts on a particular sin was on homosexuality.

Its an abomination. As you can see GOD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality, beastiality, and other things. GOD despises it, but he always forgives. God will clense you. Sin is sin. If you are offended in one point your guilty of the whole Law

Please don't flatter yourself. You're missing my point. On one hand your saying one thing and the other you're doing another. I have known why too many people like you and have been on the receiving end of a lot of the garbage that many have spewed out in the name of Christ. And why do NONE of you speak out against so called Christians that promote beating the gay out their children? How about the churches when a gay comes in and is beaten in the parking lot because they are gay?
By the way that happens far too often and yet so called good Christians won't even say a word about it. Are those things OK? Is that how God wants Christians to treat others? Or did Jesus tell us to even LOVE our neighbors and even those who are our ENEMIES?

Yeah right... [LOLZ] :D

anyway, stop picking on me Ma'am, kthnxbye
no one picks on people here, there is great love, lead by the Lord, and is not a playground. SarahM777 is like new good wine, yet to some they are not of legal age spritually to get intoxicated with it yet.

James says not to be double minded, cause it says, a double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Those who profess Jesus need to get moving, for an idle mind is the devils workshop, meaning, don't play games with your words, for they are creating confusion, or a sure foundation for you, which is Christ.

Okay, the way I see this is that if someone asks a Christian if it is wrong they are searching for an answer. Theu don't know how to look at it. I know from former experience when I was bi last year. I had some telling me oh it doesn't matter who you love. And others telling me I had potential if I would only listen to God instead of pushing him away. I finally went to the church I'm going to now and decided to ask them. I had friends there I met and noone judged which kept me wanting to go. So as God showed me answers and dealt with me, I had finally got to the point to receive the holy ghost. The one praying over me leaned toward me and said just let go whatever you're holding back. I knew right then I needed to stop acting on that attraction. And when I told God I would stop he took the temptation in itself away. So yes it is wrong no God doesn't hate and yes it can be changed. Hope this helped!

That Ssiter is exactly how Father works in each of his Children and we respond instead of demand, when the one wanting to know God, with a pure contrition to God, God reveals himself and we just change to what we know is good for us, not in force ever in understanding what is beneficial to us and not beneficial as we might once thought was
Thanks for your experience in honesty exposed here

Jesus could of said, why am I doing this, mockery, and who am I doing this for, since he Men's heart are continually thinking evil, without Christ of course, but the Blessing flows down from Obedience to the Father, and since we are engrafted into his Kingdom of Righteousness, the Blessings flow upon us, and so goes the Spiritual Generation Blessings, as it all started with Jesus. What I'm trying to say is this, lets not mock people what they are, it was Love that was set in motion, and so should it be now, oh yes scriptures are True and Amen, but I don't think no one like being banged over the head with the bible, The Holy Spirit convicts, people could condemn. Just a thought,, so yeah,, :)

Spiritual growth makes us move, if not, then taking a ruler, you haven't grown.. Trials and Tribulations either make us closer, and stronger, or buckle, no matter how much attitude one has, it's not the money that's going to buy a plane and fly away to some resort away from it all, it is "HAVING THE MIND OF CHRIST," against the wiles and strategies, of evil, gird up the loins of your mind, put on the armor of God. It is not that simple, it could be give up and wave a little white flag in surrender. :)
